Official description of the call
In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3 b) and 20.8 a) of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database, (http://www.infosubvenciones.gob.es/) First. Object and Purpose. The second call is established corresponding to the financial year 2026, for subsidies for sons and daughters who are orphaned as a result of gender violence. The purpose of this financial aid intended for the daughters and sons of women who were fatal victims of sexist violence in Extremadura, is to facilitate the repair of the damage caused to said daughters and sons, as a consequence of this loss, guaranteeing coverage of the basic material needs of these orphaned daughters and sons, to the extent possible, given their situation of special vulnerability motivated by the violence suffered and increased on the occasion of the death of their mothers. Second. Beneficiaries and General Requirements. Minor daughters and sons who are orphaned, due to homicide or murder of their mother as a consequence of gender violence, may be beneficiaries of this aid; as well as daughters and sons in the same situation, over 18 years of age and under 25 years of age, as long as they are undergoing formal training. They must prove in all cases that they hold the political status of Extremadura or Extremadura in the terms provided for in the Statute of Autonomy of Extremadura, through their administrative neighborhood in any of the municipalities of Extremadura. These requirements must be met at the time of submission of the application and maintained during the year corresponding to the call. Third. Regulatory Bases. The regulatory bases of this call are those contained in Decree 149/2024, of December 12, which establishes the regulatory bases for financial aid for sons and daughters who are orphaned as a consequence of gender violence and approves the first call. Room. Financing and Amount. The subsidies collected in this call are 100% financed by the Ministry of Equality, State Secretariat for Equality and for the Eradication of Violence against Women, charged to the General State Budgets within the framework of the credits allocated to the development of the State Pact against Gender Violence and will be made from the corresponding credits for the 2026 budget year of the General Budgets of the Autonomous Community of Extremadura. It will be charged to the corresponding credits of the General Budgets of the Autonomous Community of Extremadura in the following budget application: a) 020060000/253A/480, Fund TE25006001, Project 20210034 "State Pact against gender violence", with an endowment of 50,000.00 euros. This call is suspensively conditioned on the existence of adequate and sufficient credit, as it is processed in advance, in accordance with the provisions of rule 69 of the Order of December 17, 2020, which approves the Accounting Operation Instruction to be followed in the execution of the expenditure of the Administration of the Autonomous Community of Extremadura. Without prejudice to the credit increases that may be made throughout it, in accordance with the provisions of Law 6/2011, of March 23, and specifically in article 29.3, the maximum total amount of the subsidies called may be increased based on budgetary availability. The amount of the aid will amount to a fixed amount corresponding to 75% of the annual IPREM in 12 payments (Multiple Effects Public Income Indicator) and will be updated in each call according to the IPREM. In the 2026 call, the amount of aid will amount to a total amount of €5,400. The beneficiary may be subsidized, within each call, only once, with the aid provided for in this decree. The aid for orphans regulated here will be paid through a single payment, aimed at guaranteeing coverage of the basic material needs of the beneficiaries, and will be made once the corresponding granting resolution has been notified.
