Official description of the call
First.- Beneficiaries: The Town Councils of the island of Tenerife may be beneficiaries of the subsidies regulated by these bases, and they must meet, at the end of the application submission period, the requirements to obtain the status of beneficiaries established in article 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies (hereinafter, LGS). Second.- Purpose: Organization by the Town Councils of the island of Tenerife of municipal craft fairs to be held during the 2026 budget year, as a measure to encourage and promote the commercialization of local craft production. Third.- Regulatory Bases: The Regulatory Bases of this line of subsidies will be those approved by Agreement of the Island Government Council AC00000020921, dated March 13, 2024 and which were published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife No. 37 of March 25, 2024. Fourth.- Requirements of the event: To have the status of a Fair of crafts, the event must meet the following requirements established in base 1 of the regulations: Its celebration will be scheduled independently, as a specific promotional activity and support for the marketing of artisan products. The Fair must take place over at least one day, accounting for a minimum of 6 hours per day. The chosen place will be an enclosure itself or, failing that, a perfectly delimited space that meets satisfactory conditions of access, parking, public bathrooms and services for artisans. In order to have a clear delimitation of spaces, other types of spaces for the sale or exhibition of non-artisan products or not included in the Fair itself may not be interspersed between exhibition and sales stands integrated into the Fair. Otherwise, there will be a failure to comply with requirement a). Furthermore, access to and exit from the exhibition and sales area must be clearly and unequivocally marked, as well as its route if its distribution requires it, avoiding a lack of continuity in the exhibition space. Exhibiting artisans must be in possession of the card that accredits them as such, issued by the Cabildo of Tenerife and in force. Such participation will mean the presence of a minimum of 20 exhibiting artisans. Any non-artisan participation is excluded, unless it involves indigenous production related to confectionery (sweets, nougats, liqueurs, wines, etc.), and in no case may it exceed 25% of the total number of exhibitors present at the fair, understood as the sum of artisans plus food exhibitors. The space for exhibition and sales will consist of individualized stalls, perfectly delimited, with a surface area of no less than 4 m2 and conveniently labeled. Advertising the event will require, at a minimum, an advertising poster stating the sponsorship of the Tenerife Island Council, in cases where the event has not been held prior to the publication of the concession resolution. Fifth.- Amount: The budgetary credit approved for this call amounts to ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND EUROS (€100,000.00). The percentage of subsidy to be granted may not exceed 70% of the total expenses eligible for subsidy, with a maximum amount of TEN THOUSAND EUROS (€10,000.00). The subsidies that are regulated in these Bases are compatible with the receipt of other subsidies, aid, income or resources for the same purpose, coming from any Administration or public or private entity, national, the European Union or international organizations. However, in no case may the amount of subsidies or aid granted be of such an amount that, alone or in conjunction with subsidies from other Public Administrations or other public or private entities or from different Areas of this Island Corporation, exceeds the total cost of the activity to be carried out by the requesting City Council. Sixth.- Applications and submission deadline: Applications must be submitted electronically using an official standardized form specifically prepared in the call by the Island Council of Tenerife, through the Electronic Headquarters of the Island Council of Tenerife at https://sede.tenerife.es, "Procedures and Services" section.
