Official description of the call
Vitoria-Gasteiz City Council Culture and Education Culture Extract from the Agreement of the Local Government Board of February 20, 2026 for a subsidy to support cultural projects and consolidated events and festivals. In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database. First. Beneficiaries. Any natural or legal person interested in promoting or carrying out programs or activities that meet the objectives defined in the specific bases of each line of subsidy and whose scope of action is the municipality of Vitoria-Gasteiz may be eligible for the grant of a subsidy, upon request. The applicant persons and entities may be domiciled in the Historical Territory of Álava. Second. Purpose. This call for subsidies aims to support initiatives for the promotion, creation, training and dissemination of culture, which contribute to expanding and improving the city's cultural offering. The cultural projects subject to subsidy must be open in nature and developed and executed in the municipality, targeting the entire population of Vitoria-Gasteiz; They may involve new experiences or provide continuity to existing programs, events and festivals, and will be framed within the different cultural fields: training, creation, dissemination, research. Third. Regulatory Bases. Approved by Agreement of the Local Government Board of the Vitoria-Gasteiz City Council dated February 20, 2026; will be published in BOTHA. Room. Amount. The endowment of this call is 200,000.00 euros. The amount of the subsidy requested by each entity will not exceed 70 percent of the subsidized budget. Fifth. Application submission deadline. Fifteen business days from the day following the publication of the specific rules in the BOTHA. Vitoria-Gasteiz, February 20, 2026.
