Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries: Person or persons (natural or legal) authors of the best translation into Asturian edited and disseminated in 2025, without distinction of nationality. Second. Purpose: Prize for the best translation into Asturian of original works written in a language other than Spanish or Galician-Asturian or Eonaviego, of a literary and non-literary nature, published (in paper or digital format) and disseminated in the year 2025. Third. Regulatory bases: Resolution of the defunct Ministry of Culture, Language Policy and Tourism of September 31, 2021 (BOPA of October 13, 2021) by which the regulatory bases of the "Florina Alías" Award for the Best Translation into Asturian were approved. Room. Amount: 6,000.00 euros Fifth. Deadline for submitting applications: Thirty calendar days counting from the day following the publication of the extract of the call in the Official Gazette of the Principality of Asturias. Sixth. Other information of interest -,,The application for participation will be presented in a standardized model. -When the application is submitted by the translator or translators of the work, it will be accompanied by a sealed envelope on the front of which will be recorded the VI "Florina Alías" Award for the Best Translation into Asturian, the title of the translated work and the name of the person responsible for the translation. The envelope will contain the following documentation: o, Data and identification of the author or authors (photocopy of ID, address, telephone, email, brief resume). or, Responsible declaration of each of the persons (natural or legal) to whom the authorship of the translation is attributed regarding the following points: being up to date with their tax and Social Security obligations; not be a debtor to the Treasury of the Principality of Asturias for overdue, liquidated and payable debts; list of subsidies requested as well as those granted for the same purpose; and if it has proceeded to justify the subsidies and aid previously granted by the autonomous community. ,,Works translated into Asturian by the author of the original work may not be submitted for the award. -,,The evaluation criteria are the following: o,,Quality of the translation that is eligible for the award (up to 40 points). or, Cultural or social value of the original work being translated (up to 30 points). or, Contribution of the translated work to the cultural heritage of Asturias (up to 30 points). The jury may declare the award void if the projects presented do not reach the minimum score of 10 points in each of the sections. -The Service Sheet is published in the electronic headquarters of the Principality of Asturias (https://sede.asturias.es), which can be located by entering the code PREM0024T01 in the header search engine (located in the upper right part of the page) in which you will find the full text of the Resolution, complementary information, the standard application form and the possibility of starting the application electronically.
