CALL FOR SUBSIDIES AIMED AT PROMOTING BUSINESS INITIATIVE BY YOUNG UNIVERSITY OR HIGHER VET GRADUATES, WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE EMPLOYMENT AND BUSINESS PLAN OF THE PROVINCE OF JAÉN, YEAR 2026 First: Beneficiaries The natural or legal persons who promote initiatives will be beneficiaries of these subsidies. newly created business companies located in the province of Jaén that meet the following requirements: a) Natural persons: 1) Have started an economic activity with their corresponding registration in the Special Regime for Self-Employed Workers, or in the one that legally or statutorily corresponds to them, with a registration date as of July 1, 2025 and prior to the date of submission of the subsidy application. Not having carried out an economic activity as a self-employed person in the three months prior to the aforementioned registration. 2) Be less than 35 years old on the date of the application. 3) Be in possession of a university or higher vocational training degree or meet the requirements to obtain it on the end date of the application submission period for the call. 4) Be registered in a municipality in the province of Jaén, for at least 3 months prior to the date of publication in the Official Gazette of the Province of Jaén of this call. 5) Have the domicile of the activity located in the province of Jaén. b) Legal entities (capital companies, cooperative societies): 1) That 75% of the capital is in the name of natural persons who meet criteria 1 to 5 of point a) above or in which they own at least 51% of the capital and represent no less than 65% of the number of partners. 2) That have been registered in the Registry of Andalusian Cooperative or Commercial Societies as of July 1, 2025 and before the date of submission of the subsidy application. 3) That they have established their registered office and that of their activity in a municipality in the province of Jaén. Exclusions Groups of natural or legal persons, communities of property, civil societies or any other type of economic unit or separate assets, lacking their own legal personality, or those registered in the RETA as a collaborating family member of a self-employed businessman, may not apply for these subsidies. Second: Object. Granting of subsidies for the implementation of investment projects in tangible assets, necessary for the launch of business initiatives located in the province of Jaén by young university graduates or higher vocational training who are registered in one of the municipalities of this province. Third: Regulatory bases. Bases for Execution of the General Budget of the Provincial Council for the year 2026 (B.O.P. number 248 of 12/30/2025). Fourth: Amount. Total amount of the call: 175,000.00 euros. The amount of the subsidies will consist of a percentage of the final cost of the eligible expenses, for which purpose the budget of the activity presented by the applicant or its subsequent modifications will be taken into account as a reference for its determination, excluding VAT. The subsidy limit is set at up to 50% of the total project, with a maximum limit per company of twenty thousand euros (20,000.00 ¿). Fifth: Deadline for submitting applications. The deadline for submitting the subsidy applications contained in this call will be one month from the day following the date of publication in the Official Gazette of the Province of the extract thereof sent by the National Subsidies Database, without prejudice to its insertion on the website of the Provincial Council of Jaén. Sixth. Other information of interest. The execution of the investment project to be subsidized will extend from July 1, 2025 until three months after the final resolution is published in the BOP. These will be investments in new elements, directly related to the activity, that have not been transferred to third parties, with or without consideration, and that have not been manufactured by the requesting company itself.
