Extract of the call for subsidies under a competitive competition regime for activities of centers and institutes of local and regional studies for 2026 The extract of the call for subsidies under a competitive competition regime for activities of centers and institutes of local and regional studies for the year 2026 (approved by agreement dated March 3, 2026 of the Governing Board of the Provincial Council of Girona) is published in accordance with the provisions of the articles 17.3 b and 20.8 a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies. Beneficiaries Local and regional study centers and institutes in the Girona regions. Second. Purpose Subsidies under a competitive competition regime for activities of local and regional study centers and institutes for 2026. Third. Regulatory bases The regulatory bases of this call were approved in the plenary session of the Provincial Council of Gerona on January 27, 2026 and were published in the Official Gazette of the Province of Girona (BOPG) no. 24, of February 5, 2026. Fourth. Amount The total amount allocated to the call is 25,000 euros. The subsidies will be charged to the budgetary application of the general budget of the Provincial Council of Girona for the year 2026, which is detailed below: 303/33403/4810100 (SDG 4 and 16) - Aid to study centers and institutes for activities - Local research. Fifth. Deadline for submitting applications The deadline for submitting applications is twenty business days from the day following the publication of the extract of the call in the BOPG. The applications, together with the signatory accreditation document, duly completed and digitally signed by the person representing the entity, must be submitted through the Diputació de Girona subsidy platform. Sixth. Justification The deadline to justify the subsidized actions ends on November 15 of the year of the call (2026). Requests to extend the subsidy justification period will not be accepted. If the deadline for submitting the justification falls on a Saturday or holiday, the deadline will end on the following business day.
