Official description of the call
OBJECT: Reinforce cultural identity, and continue with the cultural and artistic dynamization of the municipality through photography, taking advantage of the scenes that occur in one of the most emblematic times of the year such as Palm Sunday and Holy Week in our population. RECIPIENTS: Any natural person who submits the works to participate within the established period may participate. If you are a minor, your father, mother or guardian will have to authorize your participation. Participation will be free, it is necessary to fill out the registration form that will be available on the municipal website AWARDING PROCEDURE i COMPETENT BODIES FOR THE ORGANIZATION, INSTRUCTION AND RESOLUTION: The competent body for the resolution of the procedure for granting the prizes is the Mayor's Office, in accordance with the verdict of the jury, having verified the conditions to be a beneficiary of the prize ANNUAL RESOLUTION, SETTING THE RESOLUTION OF SIX MONTHS, FREE COMPETITIVE COMPETITION. The digital files will have to be sent in accordance with the second Base, by email to premsa@alberic.es TECHNIQUE AND DIMENSIONS: The technique will be free. Each participating person may submit up to 5 photographs in color and/or black and white. They will be presented in digital format and photographs that present color changes will be accepted. They must be submitted in .JPG format and with a resolution of 300dpi and a minimum size of 30x45 cm. CONTEST THEME: The central theme of the Photography Contest will be Palm Sunday and Holy Week in Alberic. That is why the photographs submitted to this contest will have to capture moments or scenes experienced on the days of Palm Sunday and Holy Week (or previous days), in Alberic APPLICATION START: FROM APRIL 6, 2026 APPLICATION END: UNTIL APRIL 21, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. to the email premsa@alberic.es AWARD CRITERIA: The Jury will meet to evaluate each of the works presented, for which the following assessment criteria or indicators will be taken into account: Artistic quality of the Work Innovation and originality of the work Technique used Expressive strength of the work Whatever is considered necessary by the jury. PRIZES: First prize: Diploma and 500 euros. Second prize: Accrediting diploma and 200 euros. Third prize: Accrediting diploma and 100 euros. Among all participating people (selected and not selected) 4 checks worth 50 euros will be raffled, valid to spend at local businesses in Alberic. The jury reserves the right to declare the competition void if it considers the works insufficient. ACCEPTANCE OF BASES. The registration and presentation of works in this competition implies full acceptance of its rules. MODIFICATION OF THE RESOLUTION. Any alteration of the conditions taken into account for the award of the prize may lead to the modification of the award resolution. COMPATIBILITY WITH OTHER PRIZES OR GRANTS. Compatibility with other awards or subsidies from any other public administration is established. GENDER REFERENCE. Any reference made to the masculine gender in these rules necessarily includes its feminine homonym. PROTECTION OF PERSONAL DATA. In compliance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council, of April 27, 2016, relating to the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and the free circulation of these data, the personal data provided in the forms of these procedures will be incorporated into a file owned by the same Body, for the purpose of managing the services object of the bases, offered by this City Council within the scope of its functions.
