Extract from Resolution 5320 dated 03/28/2026, of the Alcobendas City Council, for the BASES FOR GRANTING BENEFITS AND FINANCIAL AID TO CARE FOR SOCIAL NEEDS DURING 2026 (BDNS Code 896049) First. Applicants and beneficiaries Natural persons, for themselves or for their family unit, registered for a minimum of 8 months prior to the date of the application, who have effective residence in the municipality and who meet the requirements established in this Call, may apply for municipal financial aid. The Applicant will be considered the beneficiary of the requested economic benefit, understood as the person who must carry out the activity that justified its granting or who is in the situation that legitimizes its granting. In any case, those people who prove that they do not have sufficient resources or material means may be beneficiaries of financial aid to meet the need themselves for which they request aid, according to the limits and specific requirements established in each of the benefits. Second. Purpose: The purpose of the Call is to regulate municipal aid intended to meet social needs, understood as the set of non-periodic economic aid and benefits intended to alleviate or resolve, by themselves or in addition to other resources, social emergency situations, when they lack their own economic resources, to meet their basic needs, promoting full social integration, greater personal autonomy and preventing them from leading to greater difficulties or problems of social exclusion. Regulatory Bases: The technical and administrative management of the aid object of this Call is attended to within the structure of the Municipal Social Services Center, through the Social Worker as a reference technical professional, in accordance with Law 12/2022, of December 21, on Social Services of the Community of Madrid, article 16, sections 1 and 2, who will be in charge of carrying out the assessment and first diagnosis of the social situation. and raise the initial proposal of the benefits indicated in each case.
