TEXT OF THE CALL UNDER THE BASES FOR THE GRANTING OF SUBSIDIES FOR SPORTS ACTIVITIES THROUGH COMPETITIVE COMPETITION FOR THE YEAR 2026 1. REGULATORY BASES. (Art. 23.2.a) Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies; hereinafter LXS) This call will be governed by the REGULATORY BASES FOR THE GRANTING OF SUBSIDIES FOR SPORTS ACTIVITIES UNDER A REGIME OF COMPETITIVE COMPETITION, approved by the Plenary Session of the Corporation in an ordinary session on March 26, 2026 and the full text published in the Official Gazette of the province on April 10, 2026. 2. BUDGET CREDIT. (Art. 23.2.b LXS) The amounts allocated are the amounts recorded in the regular budget for the year 2026, amounting to a total of €262,000.00 charged to item 341,489.03. 3. OBJECT. (Art. 23.2.c LXS) Considering that the Arteixo City Council recognizes the functions of sport as a fundamental element in the comprehensive training and advancement of the quality of life of citizens and as a promoter of social cohesion, considering sporting activity to be of interest. Consequently, it is necessary to allocate economic resources to the promotion activity, for the granting of financial aid for the promotion of federated sports, the organization of sporting events and the organization of programs to promote healthy physical activity. The purpose is the promotion and promotion of sport, subsidizing activities carried out in the Arteixo City Council, aimed at supporting local non-profit entities in the creation or maintenance of activities, promotion of grassroots sport, deportes for all, organization of sporting events, as well as in the provision of equipment for the programs they develop regarding sports. Based on their purpose, five lines of financing are distinguished for sports entities: 1) Program to promote federated sports in team sports 2) Program to promote federated sports in individual sports 3) Program for sporting events. 4) Program to promote healthy physical activity programs. 5) Native sports program. Sports entities may request a subsidy for one or more lines of financing, with no limit on events and programs, with the only mandatory requirement that they receive a minimum of 30% of the maximum score established in the evaluation criteria in each of the sporting events or programs to promote healthy physical activity. For sports entities that want to opt for the federated sports program, it is essential that 50% of the athletes with a competitive sports license are registered with the Arteixo City Council. It is the obligation of the beneficiaries to submit to the verification actions carried out by the granting body, as well as any other verification and financial control that may be carried out by the competent control bodies, both national and community, providing all the information required in the exercise of the above actions. 4. PROCEDURE. (Art. 23.2.d LXS) The procedure for granting the subsidies provided for in this call will comply with the competitive bidding procedure in accordance with that established in articles 9 a) and 10 a) of Municipal Ordinance number 26 for the granting of municipal subsidies; in articles 20, 21, 22, 23 and 24 of Law 9/2007, of June 13, on subsidies of Galicia, consistent with articles 23,24,25 and 26 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, general on subsidies. 5. REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY FOR THE GRANT. (Art. 23.2.and LXS) All legally constituted associations or non-profit entities may benefit from this call for subsidies. Activities, workshops or equipment subsidized or financed in the same year through other calls, agreements or plans of the Arteixo City Council may not be eligible for aid in this call. Sports federations and sports entities that do not have their registered office in the Arteixo City Council are expressly excluded from this call. The beneficiary sports entities must meet the following requirements: • Be registered in the Municipal Registry of associations at the time of the application. • Lack of profit purposes. • Have the registered office in the municipality
