8. AREA OF EDUCATION 8.1. SUBSIDIES FOR ACTIVITIES AND PROJECTS CARRIED OUT BY NON-PROFIT SCHOOLING CENTERS THAT ACT IN THE FIELD OF REGULATED EDUCATION. 1. Object The object of this call is the regulation of the conditions for the granting of subsidies intended to finance the activities and projects carried out by non-profit educational centers that operate in the field of regulated education in Arrasate. The activities and programs of the 2025-2026 school year will be subsidized. Likewise, the activities subject to subsidy must have the following nature: 1) Educational, cultural and sports activities carried out by educational centers, school educational projects, non-standard teaching material that is considered innovative. 2) Activities or programs to promote the use of Basque in the school community. 3) Activities carried out by educational centers to promote bertsolaritza in formal education, which include both the cost of the educational service provided by the bertsolaritza association and the cost of the teaching material used to develop the activity by the schools. 4) Educational dissemination activities or programs, community educational development programs and school programs developed by schools related to sustainable development, equality, coeducation and coexistence. 5) Activities or programs to promote the quality of teaching and to improve school management. 6) Teacher training activities and programs. 7) Training and educational innovation projects as well as projects to enrich the school curriculum. The following activities or concepts will not be subject to subsidy: 1) Proposals that consist of carrying out infrastructure works, investments, acquisition of real estate and the purchase of equipment (furniture, appliances, photography, IT). 2) The maintenance and operation expenses of the schools. 3) The personnel expenses of the tenured faculty to carry out different activities and projects. However, both the personnel costs of substituting these teachers and the cost of personnel hired specifically to carry out the eligible activity will be eligible for subsidies, up to a proportional limit of 25% of the cost of the activity. 4) Transportation and stay expenses derived from educational outings and ordinary student activities. However, once the income anticipated for its realization has been deducted, the City Council may agree to subsidize these expenses up to a limit of 60% of the net cost of the activity. 5) Expenses for consumable materials corresponding to the usual activity of the center as well as expenses for the acquisition of teaching materials that are not associated or justified with a specific subsidized project or that are considered to be part of a permanent educational service of the center and that therefore receives specific funding for it. Likewise, the following will not be eligible for subsidies: -Subscriptions to newspapers, magazines or books. -Corporate advertising expenses of the school. -Travel and subsistence expenses of teachers, derived from training or educational courses. 6) Expenses for food and snacks incurred by students associated with the execution of subsidized activities or projects. However, and taking into account the nature of the activity, once the income anticipated for its implementation has been deducted, the City Council may agree to subsidize these expenses up to a limit of 50% of the net cost of the activity. 7) Those subsidies that, in the opinion of the City Council, fit best into other aid programs, programming or lines of financing. 2.
