Official description of the call
In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (http:/www.pap.minhap.gob.es/bdnstrans/index): First. Beneficiaries Students who during the 2025-2026 academic year have completed the sixth year of Primary Education, the fourth year of Secondary Education and the second year of Baccalaureate, registered in the municipality of El Escorial, and an average grade equal to or greater than 8, and SEN/NCE students at the proposal of the local educational centers for merits and effort and/or compensation for inequalities, regardless of the end-of-stage grade, may participate. Likewise, three prizes will be awarded to students enrolled in the Pedro Martínez Gavito Adult Education Center (CEPA), one for the best academic record in the Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO) stage for adults and two chosen by the management team, regardless of the teachings in which they are enrolled, for their personal/family casuistry or their merits and involvement with the center and its students. Second. Objective To promote the quality of teaching and value the effort, academic excellence and the ability to compensate for inequalities of the students of the municipality of El Escorial with a vocation for continuity and aims to open a public space of recognition and reward for the effort made. Third. Regulatory bases General Subsidies Ordinance of the El Escorial City Council published in the Official Gazette of the Community of Madrid on January 16, 2008. Fourth. Primary Education Stage Awards • A prize of €200 will be awarded to the best 6th grade Primary Education record from each local school center and a €150 prize will be awarded to each of the next four best 6th grade Primary Education records from each local school centre, adding up to a total of 10 prizes. • Two prizes of €150 will be awarded to each of the primary education students chosen by the management team of the two local centers within the category of student with SEN/NCE, totaling 4 prizes. • A prize of €200 will be awarded to the best record of 6th grade of Primary Education from schools not located in the municipality of El Escorial and a prize of €150 to each of the next four best records of 6th grade of Primary Education from schools not located in the municipality of El Escorial, presented in a timely manner to the Department of Education, as specified in the award criteria section of this call, adding up to a total of 5 prizes. Secondary Education Stage • A prize of €250 will be awarded to the best 4th year secondary education record from each local school or institute and a €200 prize will be awarded to each of the next four best 4th year secondary education records from each local school or institute, adding up to a total of 10 prizes. • Two prizes of €200 will be awarded to each of the students in the secondary education stage chosen by the management team of the two local centers within the category of student with SEN/NCE, adding up to a total of 4 prizes. • A prize of €250 will be awarded to the best 4th year secondary education record from schools not located in the municipality of El Escorial and a prize of €200 will be awarded to each of the following four best secondary education records from schools not located in the municipality of El Escorial, submitted in a timely manner to the Department of Education, as specified in the award criteria section of this call, adding up to a total of 5 prizes.
