Official description of the call

First.- Beneficiaries. 1. The following may apply for these aids: a) The teaching and research staff of the University of La Laguna with official or employment ties in those specific contracting modalities of the university field regulated in the Organic Law of the University System, and in contractual modalities in accordance with the Law of Science, Technology and Innovation. This link must be present both at the time of the request and during the mobility. Additionally, the applicant PDI must meet one of the following requirements: - Appear in the specific agreement that justifies the request as its promoter. - Appear in the specific agreement that justifies the request as a member of the project work team and have the approval of the promoter of the agreement to present the request. - If you do not appear as a member of the project work team, prove, in writing from the promoter of the agreement, that you will carry out any of the activities contemplated in the work plan of the specific agreement. - If there is no specific agreement, propose a work plan approved by a destination institution with which the University of La Laguna has signed a framework agreement. - If there is no framework agreement, propose a work plan approved by a new destination institution belonging to an ODA recipient country. b) Doctoral students enrolled in the 2025/2026 academic year, full or part-time, in one of the Doctoral Programs of the University of La Laguna. This condition must be maintained throughout the entire period of the stay. You must have a residence permit in Spain, valid for the duration of the mobility, in the event that the applicant is not a citizen of the EU. Additionally, the applicant students must meet one of the following requirements: - Be completing a doctoral thesis with international mention or co-supervised, with the teaching staff of the destination institution and the ULL. - Appear in the specific agreement that justifies the request, as a member of the project work team and have the approval of the promoter of the agreement to present the request. - If you do not appear as a member of the project work team, prove, in writing from the promoter of the agreement, that you are going to carry out any of the activities contemplated in the work plan of the specific agreement. Second.- Object. The purpose of this call is to provide aid to cover part of the travel expenses, aimed at teaching and research staff and doctoral students at the University of La Laguna, for stays during the year 2026 in countries receiving Official Development Assistance (ODA), for activities reflected in work plans included in the specific agreements in force processed by the convening vice-rector's office, as well as work plans prepared specifically for this call. Third.- Regulatory bases. Resolution 41/2026, of the Vice-Rector for Internationalization and Cooperation, which approves the rules that will govern the call for travel grants, provided by Santander Universities, for mobility of teaching and research staff and doctoral students during the year 2026, linked to current agreements signed with universities and educational institutions in countries receiving Official Development Assistance (ODA). Fourth.- Amount. A total of 15 travel bags will be awarded for a maximum total amount of 27,000 euros, charged to budget application 1804152501 421B1 48902 distributed as follows: Modality A. Teaching or research stays for Teaching and Research Staff: 8 travel bags of 1,800 euros each. Modality B. Teaching, teaching or research stays for doctoral students: 7 travel bags of 1,800 euros each. Fifth.- Deadline for submitting applications. The deadline for submitting applications will be 10 business days from the day following the publication of this extract in the Official Gazette of the Canary Islands. Sixth.- Other data. The applications, as well as all the documentation required in subsequent phases of the procedure, will be submitted electronically through the Electronic Headquarters of the University of La Laguna, at the web address https://sede.ull.es/ecivilis-sit
