Official description of the call
1. OBJECT, PURPOSE AND BUDGETARY APPROPRIATION 1.1. The purpose of this call is, through competitive competition, to award the prize called "City of Picassent Women's Narrative Prize" 2026. 1.2. The expense generated for the granting of the prizes provided for in these bases will be charged to the budget credit of item 2026.610.33401.4810061 CITY OF PICASSENT NARRATIVE AWARDS 2. PARTICIPATING AUTHORS 2.1. Only women, of legal age, who meet the rest of the requirements established in these bases, in accordance with that provided for in article 9.2 of the Spanish Constitution and Law 9/2003, of the Generalitat, for equality between women and men, may participate in this call, as a positive action measure aimed at promoting real and effective equality and who formalize the corresponding registration on the established date and form and who meet the following requirements: a) Be up to date with the fulfillment of their tax obligations. and before Social Security and compliance with the obligations to reimburse subsidies in the manner established in article 6 of the Ordinance. Accreditation of compliance with obligations will be carried out through a responsible declaration. Not be subject to any of the causes of prohibition to receive subsidies established in article 13 of the General Law of Subsidies b) Be up to date with the tax obligations with the Picassent City Council for debts in the executive period, except if they are debts or sanctions that have been deferred, divided in installments or whose execution was suspended. Not have any pending justification for subsidies granted by the Picassent City Council after concluding the period established for their presentation, regardless of the requirement referred to in article 70.3 of the Regulations of the General Law of Subsidies, whether it has been carried out or not. This requirement will be accredited with a responsible declaration. 2.2. It will be accredited by means of a responsible declaration by the participant: Being up to date with their tax and Social Security obligations. REQUIREMENTS OF THE WORKS The WOMEN'S NARRATIVE WORKS that they present will have to be original and unpublished, originally written in Valencian, they will not have to have been awarded in any other contest. The length will not be less than 80 pages nor more than 150 pages (DIN A4) and with Arial 12 font, 1.5 line spacing. The topic is free and must be written in normative Valencian and must incorporate a feminist perspective and inclusive and non-sexist language. Works generated, assisted or modified with artificial intelligence or translations or adaptations of other texts are not accepted. Regarding the character of an unpublished work, it will be considered to be the work in which, in the opinion of the jury, the following characteristics are present: a) That its content has sufficient unity and entity to be considered as a whole as a new literary work. b) That possible passages collected from previous works or those belonging to works authored by others have no significance within the same work (in this case, always citing the reference). Translations or adaptations of other works will not be considered original and unpublished. 4. APPLICATIONS AND GENERAL CONDITIONS FOR SUBMISSION OF WORK 4.1. All works will be presented in digital support using a pseudonym and all those that have data will be void.
