Official description of the call
The Department of Tourism, Local Development and Business Promotion of the Ayora City Council wants to promote and enhance the municipality's restaurant activity, as well as highlight local talent and products with the realization of the 1. MAIN OBJECTIVE Promote and publicize the gastronomic variety of Ayora as a tourist resource. Support the business sector in its tourism promotion initiatives. Promote responsible leisure. Support the municipality's hospitality sector. 2. DATES AND TIMES The night. 3. PARTICIPATING ESTABLISHMENTS All restaurant and hospitality establishments (restaurants, bars and cafes) in Ayora that have registered within the corresponding period, in the manner and within the deadline, and that meet the requirements and standards established in these rules may participate. To register, they must submit the Application (Annex I) within the corresponding deadline, providing a description of the two tapas they are submitting to the contest (one cold and one hot), the ingredients, the allergens and a photograph of each of them, which may form part of the posters and promotional material for the 10th Tapa Route. 4. REQUIREMENTS OF PARTICIPATING ESTABLISHMENTS 4.1. All those hospitality and restaurant establishments in Ayora that meet the requirements established in current regulations regarding health, hygiene, cleanliness and safety during the celebration of the X Ayora Tapa Route may participate. 4.2. The customer service staff of these establishments must be in possession of a food handler's card. 4.3. Participating establishments will commit to serving tapas on the days and at the times established in Article 2 of these rules. 4.4. Each participating establishment must present two tapas, one cold and one hot. A tapa is considered to be a preparation made for tasting and that is made in a prominent and differentiated way from what the customer can normally find. 4.5. The price of the tapa will be a maximum of 6 euros, with each establishment having the freedom to set the price it considers appropriate, respecting that maximum. 4.6. The tapas must reflect compliance with what is stated in these Rules, as well as the quality that is assumed in these competitions, valuing the correct presentation, flavor, originality, the use of local products and technique. Likewise, we recommend that establishments have the tapas in a visible or reference place, as well as the list of ingredients they contain and/or their allergen list. 4.7. The participating establishment undertakes to offer the tapas in the competition during the days of the X Tapa Route, committing to not change them during the duration of the event, to maintain the quality, and to have the adequate supply forecast that corresponds to an event of these characteristics. 4.8. The establishment must promote the X Tapa Route through signage, which must be displayed in a visible place, as well as always have Passports for the customer who requests it for voting. You must also have a stamp/stamp of your establishment to be able to stamp in the corresponding box of the passport, which clearly reflects the establishment you represent. The seal/stamp cannot be replaced by the signature of the owner of the establishment. From the organization we recommend the use of an identifying stamp for each establishment, in order to offer a good image in general and a particular promotion of the business. 4.9. The participating establishment must make available to the public everything necessary to cast their vote. 4.10. The establishment must return all excess material (Passport, as well as any other material that has been delivered) to the Department once the contest is over.
