First: Modalities. * Written press. * Radio * Television * Photography * Digital press To the journalistic works carried out in the year 2025 that have best contributed to reflecting the provincial reality, to improving the quality of provincial information about the territories and local governments of the province and to promoting the dissemination of the cultural, economic and social values of the province of Jaén. Second: Participants. 1.- Journalism professionals individually or collectively. 2.- Private communication companies from Jaen. 3.- City councils of the province that are owners of municipal public communication companies. Third: Economic Endowment. One thousand five hundred euros (1,500 ¿) -include taxes and/or withholdings that legally correspond-, for each of the five modalities. The Jury may propose special mentions, without financial award. Fourth: Regulatory Bases. Bases for Execution of the General Budget of the Provincial Council for the year 2026 (B.O.P. number 248 of 12/30/2025). Fifth: Assessment criteria. It is contained in point five of the bases. Sixth: Deadline for submitting applications. As of the publication of the extract of the Rules of the call in the B.O.P. until September 30, 2026. Seventh: Documentation and place of submission of applications. The documentation must include the proposals of the participants in each specialty that is included in the sixth point of the bases and must be presented by the legal entities necessarily through the Electronic Headquarters of the Provincial Council of Jaén, in accordance with the provisions of article 14.2 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure. Natural persons will preferably present the documentation through the Electronic Headquarters of the Provincial Council of Jaén or by the means provided for in article 16.4 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations. Eighth: Copyright. The Provincial Council reserves the right to disseminate the awarded works in the manner it deems appropriate to publicize the Local Journalism and Communication Award and the good practices that are carried out in this field in the province.
