Municipal aid 2026 to finance current expenses, works and activities developed by the councils of the municipality of San Millán in the year 2025

Official description of the call

Purpose of the call: The following call aims to finance and collaborate with the current expenses, works and activities that, throughout the year 2025, have been promoted and carried out by the municipal councils and that tend to the development of basic public services and the quality of life of citizens. Current expenses (lighting, chlorination...), works and activities that, throughout the year 2025, have been promoted and carried out by the municipal councils, will be eligible for subsidies. The following will not be eligible for subsidies: - Current expenses, investments or specific activities that are subsidized through other aid or calls, except for the part that is not subsidized. - Expenses incurred for meals or food products, etc. Beneficiaries: Councils belonging to the Municipality of San Millán. Regulatory bases: Approved by the Full City Council of San Millán in a session held on May 11, 2026. Amount of aid: The maximum budget amount allocated to this call is 177,485.74 euros. Distribution criteria: a) A fixed amount of 12,629.28 euros, which corresponds to the linear distribution of 789.33 euros, among the fifteen councils of the municipality, taking into account the water tanks, with different pipes, intended to supply the population of the different nuclei that make up the councils. b) Of the remainder of the linear distribution of water tanks, the amount of 162,856.46 euros, 60 percent, the amount of 97,713.88 euros, will be distributed linearly among the fifteen councils of the municipality, giving the amount of 6,514.25 euros per council. c) The remaining 40 percent, the amount of 65,142.71 euros, will be distributed directly proportional to the number of inhabitants registered in each entity on January 1, 2026. d) The amount of 2,000.00 euros, provided for in the budget application, will be allocated to good community composting practices. The maximum subsidy to each council that certifies the start-up and operation of this practice will be 500.00 euros, which will be added to the total subsidy calculated for the Council. If, due to the number of applications and the amounts to be received, it is necessary to reduce the maximum amount to be received by each council to adjust it to the amount allocated in the budget item for good community composting practices, the reduction would be established proportionally to all requesting councils. Deadline for submitting applications: The maximum deadline for submitting applications and supporting documentation for all locations will end on September 12, 2026.
