RESOLUTION of the general director of the IVC calling for subsidies to promote the performing arts by 2026, in the modalities of professional production of a scenic assembly, tour of shows, festivals and exhibitions and associations and ESAL

Object, purpose and scope of application 1. It is the object of this resolution to call for the granting of subsidies for the promotion of the performing arts in the Valencian Community, within the framework of the powers of the Institut Valencià de Cultura (hereinafter IVC), and in accordance with the objectives entrusted to it. 2. These subsidies are intended to encourage and promote the creation, production, dissemination and exhibition of the performing arts, through activities such as festivals, professional production, tours and associations and non-profit entities, among others, as well as promoting cooperation with other cultural agents and entities in the public or private sphere, with the ultimate goal that citizens can have a diversified and quality offering of performing arts. 3. Subsidies will be granted in accordance with the principles of publicity, transparency, objectivity, equality and non-discrimination, and through the competitive competition regime. 4. The activities must take place between December 1, 2025 and November 30, 2026, both included, with the exception of the premiere date of the shows benefiting from the annual aid for professional production, which must take place no later than January 31, 2027. Second. Aid modalities The modalities provided for in this call are the following: 1. Aid for the professional production of a scenic assembly, which aims to support the creative work and qualitative increase of a scenic assembly, to enable a diversified offer and consistent quality in the production and premiere of the assembly. This modality contains three submodalities, circus, dance and theater. 2. Aid for show tours, which aim to support the exhibition and distribution of shows with the aim of facilitating their dissemination and marketing. This modality contains three submodalities, circus, dance and theater. 3. Aid for the holding of festivals and exhibitions, which aim to enhance the diversity of performing arts, provide spaces for meeting and dialogue between performing arts professionals, increase the cultural offer for citizens and contribute to the creation, training and development of audiences. 4. Aid to associations and non-profit entities, whose purpose is to promote promotional and defense activities in the professional sector of the performing arts, in order to contribute to its structure in society. Third. Persons and entities beneficiaries of the aid To obtain the status of person or entity beneficiary of this aid, the requirements established in the third resolution of the call must be met. Room. Financing of aid, distribution and amounts. . In accordance with Law 6/2025, of May 30, on the budgets of the Generalitat for the year 2025 (DOGV 10120, of 05/31/2025), and Decree 204/2025, of December 26, of the Consell, which establishes the criteria for applying the automatic extension of the budgets of the Generalitat for 2025, until the entry into force of the budgets for 2026 (DOGV 10272, 12/31/2025), the aid called will be allocated to the credit provided for in section G0118, entity 016, subsidy line S0993 “Promotion of the performing arts”, of the IVC. The referred amount may be reduced when, within the framework of budgetary stability and financial sustainability policies, non-availability measures are adopted that affect the credits of the subsidy lines that finance them. 2. The amount initially planned for this call is €2,950,000 and will be distributed among the different modalities according to the following breakdown: a) Aid for the professional production of a scenic assembly: up to a maximum of €1,230,000. b) Aid for show tours: up to a maximum of €622,000. c) Aid to festivals and exhibitions: up to a maximum of €748,000. d) Aid to associations and non-profit entities: up to a maximum of €350,000. 3.
