First. Object. The purpose of this aid is to help applicants from Astigarragatarra, between 18 and 35 years of age, to pay the rent for their habitual residence, if they are already renting said residence and do not have the right to benefit from the rest of the aid intended for this purpose (Gaztelagun, Complementary Housing Benefit, Social Emergency Aid, etc.). The aid will be processed and granted in accordance with the conditions defined in these bases. The aid will be used to pay the rent to be paid in the twelve months of 2025 (from January 1 to December 31, 2025), provided that the conditions are maintained during said period. Second. Budget allocation. The total amount allocated to the aid granted in this call will be 60,000.00 euros, coming from the following item of the General Budgets of Astigarraga for the year 2026: 1 0400.480.01.152.20 2026 (1655). Third. Advertising. For the purposes of these rules, two or more people who live in the same home or residence constitute a cohabitation unit, provided they are united by marriage or a permanent marital bond, up to the fourth degree of consanguinity or up to the second degree of kinship by affinity, or by a permanent relationship of adoption or foster care or pre-adoption. 3. All people who make up the cohabitation unit, except for minor sons and daughters, must comply with the conditions defined in these bases.4. The City Council may define new cases or assumptions of coexistence unity in accordance with social evolution and, fundamentally, in accordance with the evolution of the family structure. In this sense, the economic dependence between the applicants and those who live with them will be assessed, provided that there is no pecuniary agreement between the receiving unit and the people it has welcomed.5. The natural persons who are co-owners of the rent may also request aid (people who, although they share the rent, do not form any cohabitation unit). In these cases, each co-owner must make their own application (also attaching the requested documentation). Fifth. Deadline for submission of applications.Documentation: Applications will be submitted by duly completing the standardized form prepared for this subsidy. The standardized form will be available on the website www.astigarraga.eus and at the municipal registry office. The deadline for submitting applications will end on September 30. Applications submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.
