First. Persons benefiting from aid. 1.In general, natural or legal persons who develop an activity, or who plan to develop it with the launch of the initiative, may benefit from this aid. The beneficiaries of the aid may be: a) Local public entities, with a territorial scope lower than the provincial level: town councils, associations, smaller local entities and consortia. b) Private law persons: Natural or legal persons, including their unions and federations, civil societies, as well as groups of natural persons, such as Communities of Property (CB) or other groups that, although lacking legal personality, may carry out the operations that motivate the granting of the subsidy. c) Associations, foundations, irrigation communities and regulatory councils, and other non-profit entities, including their unions and federations. 2. To obtain the status of beneficiary, applicants must meet the requirements established in article 7 of the Order of July 6, 2026, of the Ministry of Water, Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries by which this call is approved. Second. Object, purpose and territorial scope. 1. The purpose of this Call is to call for aid intended to carry out operations of the Participatory Local Development Strategy of the Sierra Espuña Territory 2023-2027, hereinafter EDLP Sierra Espuña Territory, through the aid regulated in the Order of April 15, 2026, of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, which establishes the regulatory bases for the LEADER aid financed by the intervention. 7119 for the execution of unscheduled projects (7119.02.1), within the framework of the Strategic Plan for the Common Agrarian Policy, period 2023-2027. 2. The aid regulated in this call is intended to support actions aimed at promoting job creation, improving quality of life, diversification of economic activity, innovation, maintenance of natural and cultural heritage, circular bioeconomy, social inclusion, conservation and improvement of the environment and gender equality in rural areas. 3. The scope of application is that established in the EDLP Territorio Sierra Espuña and corresponds to the following municipalities: Albudeite, Aledo, Alhama de Murcia, Campos del Río, Librilla, Mula, Pliego and Totana. Third. Regulatory bases. In accordance with article 37.6 of Legislative Decree 1/1999 of December 2, which approves the Consolidated Text of the Finance Law of the Region of Murcia, the following are intended to be acquired:
