In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the call is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Base http://www.pap.minhap.gob.es/bdnstrans/index, and on the website of the Vitoria-Gasteiz City Council http://www.vitoria-gasteiz.org. First. Purpose The purpose of the call for the Green Pact Awards is to publicly recognize the best environmental practices that the organizations participating in the Green Pact Community, in line with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, have implemented to reduce the negative environmental impact of their activity and thus contribute to the local production system moving towards a circular and low-carbon production model. Second. Beneficiaries A maximum of two applications per company may be submitted. Every candidate organization must meet the following requirements: - Be a member of the Green Pact Community and, as a manifestation of their commitment to meeting the Sustainable Development Goals, they must have implemented in the period 2025-2026 some good practice that involves reducing the negative environmental impact of their processes, products and/or services. - Comply with the requirements of current regulations and be up to date in compliance with tax and Social Security obligations imposed by current provisions, in the terms determined by regulation. - Not be subject to any of the prohibitions contained in article 11 of the General Subsidies Ordinance or article 13.2 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies. To qualify for the prize with a financial award, you must meet the following additional requirements: - Be a company (organization dedicated to industrial, commercial or service provision activities for profit). - That the company is located (physical and/or fiscal headquarters) in the municipality of Vitoria-Gasteiz. Organizations that are members of the Green Pact may apply for the honorary award: - Companies from outside Vitoria-Gasteiz. - Public companies and public law entities, whether or not they are from Vitoria-Gasteiz. - Non-profit entities and those that carry out associative and professional activities, whether or not they are from Vitoria-Gasteiz. Bases The Plenary Session of the Vitoria-Gasteiz City Council, in its ordinary session on April 21, 2023, agreed to initially approve the general subsidy ordinance of the Vitoria-Gasteiz City Council, which was finally published in the Official Gazette of the Historical Territory of Álava (BOTHA number 88, of July 28, 2023), and came into force on October 1, 2023.
