Official description of the call

Object and purpose. The purpose of these bases is the regulation of the processing, granting, payment, justification and control of the subsidies granted by the Provincial Council of Ourense, under a non-competitive competition regime, by order of priority, to individuals who are developing business, self-employment or professional projects in municipalities of the province of Ourense, and to proceed with its call for the year 2026. The purpose of the 2026 call is, on the one hand, to maintain the purpose already stated. in the 2025 call, aimed at supporting female entrepreneurship, especially linked to the rural area of the province, as an instrument of economic development, territorial cohesion, reduction of structural gender gaps, territorial equity and population fixation. On the other hand, the 2026 call incorporates a specific purpose of continuity with respect to the projects that were already beneficiaries in the previous year, with the aim of promoting their consolidation, avoiding the interruption of business or professional initiatives already supported by the Provincial Council of Ourense and contributing to the maintenance of economic activity and self-employment in the provincial territory. Requirements of the beneficiaries and business projects. 1. The following may be beneficiaries of these subsidies: A) Those people who will be beneficiaries of the 2025 call, provided that, on the date of the application provided for in these bases, they are still registered in the business or professional activity that motivated the granting of the subsidy in the previous year. B) Natural persons who have started their self-employed business or professional activity as of May 1, 2025, in one of the municipalities of the province of Ourense, and meet the other requirements established in this call. The available credit will be allocated, 75%, to business and/or professional initiatives whose workplace is located in a municipality in Ourense with less than 20,000 inhabitants. The granting of this reserved credit will be carried out in strict order of priority of the complete applications that meet the requirements established in these bases. Once these requests have been attended to, or in the event that there are not enough requests to exhaust the reserved credit, the rest of the available credit will also be assigned in strict order of priority to the complete applications that meet the requirements, regardless of the city council in which the initiative is developed, until the maximum credit of the call is exhausted. However, people who had the status of beneficiaries in the 2025 call will access the preferential processing in the terms provided in these bases, provided that they certify or allow ex officio verification of the maintenance of the subsidized activity. For people who were already beneficiaries of the 2025 call, the accreditation of the requirements already verified in the previous file may be carried out through ex officio verification by the Provincial Council of Ourense, without prejudice to the duty to accredit or allow verification of the maintenance of registration in the activity and that there are no causes that prevent obtaining the status of beneficiary person. For these cases of continuity, the age requirement and the location criterion for access to the reserved credit are excepted, as these are applications that will opt for preferential processing in the terms provided in these bases. B) For people who attend this call for the first time, the requirements will be the following: Be a woman. Have a minimum of 3 months' experience in the business/professional activity on the date of submission of the application. Be between 16 years old and 35 years old at the time of registration with Social Security. Have Spanish nationality or be a citizen of the European Union, of the States party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area or of Switzerland, or be a foreigner with an authorization to reside in Spanish territory that enables them to work on their own. Be registered as a resident in the registry of one of the municipalities of the province of Ourense. Be registered with Social Security in any regime for self-employment, or as a member in practice in a mutual benefit
