Official description of the call

First. Beneficiaries Non-profit sports entities legally constituted and registered in the Registry of Sports Entities of the Government of the Balearic Islands can benefit from this call, at least since the beginning of the season being supported, and that carry out their sports activity on the island of Menorca. Second. Purpose The purpose of this call is to offer and regulate the granting of financial aid aimed at non-profit sports entities registered in the Registry of the General Directorate of Sports of the Balearic Islands and domiciled in Menorca, through different lines of subsidy, and the dissemination, maintenance, training and promotion of sports activity through the activities they carry out, thus contributing to the development and comprehensive training of people and the improvement of their quality of life. Third. Regulatory bases This call is governed by the bases approved by the Executive Council of the Island Council of Menorca in an ordinary session on May 8, 2023. Fourth. Amount The maximum overall amount of the call is €270,000 (two hundred and seventy thousand euros), with the following breakdown: Line Maximum amount Line 1A. Maintenance and support of sports entities – sports clubs €125,000 Line 1b. Maintenance and support of sports entities - federations €10,000 Line 2. Travel and accommodation €90,000 Line 3. Aid to pay for mandatory ambulances €15,000 Line 4. Training of sports technicians €10,000 Line 5. Promotion of educational values ​​€20,000 All help lines €270,000 Fifth. Application submission period The application submission period begins on May 15, 2023 or after the call has been published in the BOIB (if it is after May 15) and will end on July 31, 2023. Sixth. Other data. Maximum amounts per beneficiary Line 1: per entity, the maximum amount will be three thousand five hundred euros (€3,500) Line 2: per entity, the maximum amount will be four thousand five hundred euros (€4,500) Line 3: per entity, the maximum amount will be two thousand four hundred euros (€2,400), with a limit of €1,200 per competition. Line 4: per entity, the maximum amount will be two thousand euros (€2,000), with a limit of €500 per trained technician Line 5: per entity, the maximum amount will be one thousand euros (€1,000) For activities carried out from August 1 to July 31 of the season specified in the call.
