Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries: Companies concessionaires of permanent regular public transport services for general use road passengers whose itineraries run totally or partially through the Autonomous Community of La Rioja. Second. Purpose: To call for the 2023-2024 school year the transport card and the subsidy regulated in Order 2/2009, of September 29, of the Department of Housing and Public Works, which determines the procedure for obtaining a transport card for students and establishes the bases for the granting of subsidies as compensation for the rate reductions established for them. Third. Regulatory bases: Order 2/2009, of September 29, of the Ministry of Housing and Public Works, which determines the procedure for obtaining a transportation card for students, and establishes the bases for the granting of subsidies as compensation for the rate reductions established for them (Official Gazette of La Rioja number 123 of October 2, 2009, number 77, of June 25, 2012, number 60, of May 6, 2015, number 97 of August 24, 2016, number 99 of August 24, 2018 and number 153 of August 10, 2022). Room. Amount: The approved expense is three hundred and fifty thousand euros (350,000 euros) which will be charged to budget item 09.02.4411.470.01 charged to the year 2024. If this amount is insufficient, the necessary mechanisms will be arbitrated to cover the entire expense. Fifth. Deadline for submitting applications: The deadline for submitting subsidy applications and the documentation required in Article 8 of the Order: From the day of publication of the extract of the call in the Official Gazette of La Rioja until December 31, 2023, both inclusive. Period in which companies must establish the rate reductions established in article 5 of Order 2/2009, of September 29: From September 11, 2023 to July 12, 2024. Exceptionally, the amounts corresponding to the rate reductions made in the 2022-2023 school year that have not been compensated in the call corresponding to this course. Deadline for submitting transport license applications: From the day following the publication of the extract of the call in the Official Gazette of La Rioja until November 17, 2023, both inclusive. Sixth. Other information of interest: 1. Applications: The official application model is available through the website of the Government of La Rioja https://www.larioja.org/carnetransporteestudiantes 3. Documentation: As provided in section 2 of article 10 of Order 2/2009, of September 29. 4. Period to be subsidized for the tariff reductions carried out: From September 11, 2023 to July 12, 2024. 5. Concession procedure: Direct concession. 6. Applications submitted after the deadline may be admitted, proving that they have enrolled in the study center or that there has been a change of residence after the end of the application submission period, provided that compliance with the rest of the requirements is proven. 7. Validity of transport cards: The cards will be issued valid for the 2023-2024 school year, and companies must establish fare reductions in accordance with the provisions of section b).
