Official description of the call
Article 1. Object. 1. The 22nd edition of the drawing contest of the Region of Murcia “My Town, Europe” is being held on a competitive basis, with the aim of promoting and encouraging knowledge of the European Union among schoolchildren, with prizes awarded in the following categories: - First.- Early Childhood Education. - Second.-1st and 2nd of Primary Education. - Third.- 3rd and 4th years of Primary Education. - Fourth.- 5th and 6th years of Primary Education. 2. The prizes object of this call are configured as in-kind aid, in each of the categories a first, second and third prize will be awarded and a prize will be awarded to students with special educational needs (ACNEE). Article 2. Participants. The students of educational centers, at the levels of Early Childhood Education and Primary Education of any public, private or charter school in the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, enrolled in the 2023-2024 school year. Article 3. Regulatory bases. This call will be governed by the regulatory bases approved by Order of July 7, 2016, of the Ministry of the Presidency (BORM, no. 174, of July 28, 2016). Article 4. Help in kind. Budget credit and amount. 1. The granting of the prizes object of this call is configured as aid in kind in accordance with the provisions of Additional Provision 5, sections 2 and 3 of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, being in all cases conditional on the existence of adequate and sufficient credit. 2. The prize is financed from the credit provided for in budget item 16.02.00.126E.489.01, project 42526 “My town, Europe” competition awards, from the corresponding General Budgets of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, for the year 2023, whose maximum global amount is 1,500.00 euros. Article 5. Form and deadline for submitting applications. 1. The registration application will be submitted electronically with the digital signature of the educational center, through the electronic headquarters (http://sede.carm.es), procedures and services guide, procedure code 483. The document duly completed according to the model included in the Annex to the Call Order will be attached to this application. 2. Educational centers may submit to the contest the works of those schoolchildren whose parents or legal guardians have express authorization regarding their participation. Subsequently, the authorization of the parents or legal guardians of the awarded schoolchildren will be required for the use of their image at the awards ceremony. 3. The deadline for submitting the application for registration as well as the drawings selected by the schools will be one month from the month following the publication of the extract of the Order in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia. 4. The drawings selected by the center must be presented in original format to the General Directorate of the European Union-Europe Direct Center Region of Murcia, located at Plaza de San Agustín, nº 5. 30005 Murcia. The shipment may also be made through the registries or offices referred to in article 16.4 of Law 39/2015. In the document by which they are presented, in these registries or offices, mention will be made of the proof of confirmation of the electronic receipt of the registration request.
