CALL FOR THE GRANTING OF GRANTS FOR SCHOLARSHIPS AND PRIZES FOR INDIVIDUAL ATHLETES OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF LOS ALCÁZARES YEAR 2023

Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries. Individual athletes who, on the date of submission of the application, meet the following requirements may be beneficiaries of the subsidies covered by these rules: 1) Be a native of Los Alcázares or be registered in the municipality of Los Alcázares for a minimum of three years as of the date of this call. 2) Possess a valid license from any of the regional or national sports federations. Only sports licenses from disciplines recognized by the Higher Sports Council will be taken into account. 3) Not be subject to any of the prohibitions provided for in article 13 of Law 38/2003 of November 17, General Subsidies. 4) Be up to date with your state and regional tax and Social Security obligations, as well as your tax and financial obligations with the Los Alcázares City Council. 5) Be considered a High Performance or High Level athlete during the previous two seasons, as provided in Royal Decree 971/2007, of July 13, on High Level and High Performance athletes. Second. Object and Purpose. The purpose of these rules is to establish and regulate the granting by the Los Alcázares City Council of subsidies to individual athletes of the municipality for their participation in federative competitions and the sporting achievements obtained during the two previous seasons. The procedure for granting these will be competitive competition, in accordance with the principles of publicity, transparency, equality, non-discrimination, effectiveness and efficiency. Third. Regulatory Bases. These subsidies will be governed by the provisions of the Regulatory Bases for granting Subsidies to Individual Athletes, approved within the framework of the budget execution for the year 2023, approved in an extraordinary session of the Plenary Session, held on October 11, 2023, in Law 38/2003, of November, General Subsidies; in the General Regulations of the Subsidies Law approved by Royal Decree 887/2006, of July 21; in Law 39/2015, of October, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations; in Royal Decree 130/2019, of March 8, which regulates the National Subsidies Database and the advertising of subsidies and other public aid; in the General Subsidies Ordinance, approved by the Plenary Session of the Corporation, in an ordinary session, held on May 3, 2010 and published in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia no. 210, of September 10, 2010 and in the remaining administrative law rules that may be applicable, and failing that, the private law rules. The procedure for granting these subsidies will be on a competitive basis, by comparing the applications presented, in order to establish a priority between them in accordance with the evaluation criteria established in this call, awarding, with the limit set in the following point, those that have obtained the highest evaluation in application of the aforementioned criteria. 4. Amount and Budget Appropriation. The budget appropriations to which the subsidy is allocated amount to a total of €10,000, charged to budget application 341,480.00. The amount of the subsidy may not exceed 2,500.00 euros per athlete. 5. Deadline for submitting applications. The submission period is 15 calendar days from the day following the publication in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia (BORM) of the extract of the call.
