Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries: Young artists born between January 1, 1989 and December 31, 2008, with the exception provided for in the discipline of Performing Arts. Young people born or residing in the municipality of Murcia, or who, failing that, prove that they carry out a work or academic activity during the year 2023/2024 in the municipality of Murcia, with the exception provided for in the discipline of Gastronomy, in the case of groups or collectives only the applicant must comply. Second. Object and purpose: Promote the creativity of emerging artists from Murcia and be a priority framework for cultural expression in the following disciplines: Performing Arts, Plastic Arts, Visual Arts, Comics, Short Films, Graphic Design, Fashion Design, Photography, Gastronomy, Literature and Music (in the categories of Pop-Rock, Other Trends and Author Song). Third. Regulatory bases: General Ordinance of Subsidies and Awards of the Murcia City Council. (BORM_36_02/14/2023). Room. Amount: The maximum amount of the call is 45,500.00 euros, charged to the 2024 budget application 0 040 3340 48199. Fifth. Application submission deadline: Starting on the day following the publication of this extract in the BORM, each discipline having a different end date, the last being May 31, 2024. Sixth. Other information: Subsidy applications will preferably be submitted in accordance with the provisions of art. 66 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations, through the Electronic Headquarters of the Murcia City Council (Procedimientos-Juventud) (https://sede.murcia.es/areas?idCategoria=10006). Along with the registration application, the documentation detailed in the call must be provided. Registrations for the same artistic discipline as those who won first prize in previous calls will not be admitted. With the exception that registration in that same artistic discipline is with other group or collective projects that have not obtained first prize in previous editions of this contest. The proposals presented may not have been awarded in any contest held prior to the date of presentation of the registration bulletin.
