Official description of the call

Article 1. Object and purpose. The purpose of this Order is to call for a subsidy, on a competitive basis, for the granting of two scholarships for practical specialized training in European affairs, aimed at natural persons who graduate from university, for the year 2024/2025. This practical training will last twelve months from the day of the effective incorporation of the beneficiary of the scholarship and, except due to force majeure, it will be carried out in person at the headquarters of the General Directorate of the European Union in the cities of Murcia, during the first quarter and, the remaining three quarters at the headquarters in Brussels. Article 2. Beneficiaries. Individuals who, on the closing date of the application submission period, meet the following general requirements may apply for and be beneficiaries of this scholarship: a) Possess Spanish nationality or nationality from a Member State of the European Union. b) Be natural or reside in the Region of Murcia for at least one year uninterruptedly, counting from the date of publication of the corresponding call. c) Not be older than 30 years. d) Be in possession, or in a position to obtain, an official university degree of at least a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, which allows access to postgraduate studies. Only official university degrees will be valid, according to article 3 of Royal Decree 822/2021, of September 28, which establishes the organization of university education and the procedure for ensuring its quality. The degrees obtained abroad or in non-state Spanish centers must have been homologated, declared equivalent to official university degrees and academic levels, or validated in accordance with the provisions of Royal Decree 889/2022, of October 18, which establishes the conditions and procedures for homologation, declaration of equivalence and validation of university teachings from foreign educational systems and which regulates the procedure to establish correspondence at the level of the Spanish Qualifications Framework for Higher Education for official university degrees belonging to previous academic organizations. e) Mastery of the Spanish language. f) Have knowledge of languages, English with a minimum level B2 and a second language, which is an official language of the European Union, with a minimum level B1, according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages ​​(MECR). g) Not be, nor have previously been, a beneficiary of training and internship scholarships in European affairs convened by the Administration of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia. h) Not incur any of the exclusionary circumstances to obtain the status of beneficiary of the subsidy, provided for in article 13 of Law 38/2013, of November 17, General Subsidies. 2. All requirements, as well as the alleged merits, must be met by the end date of the application submission period and must be maintained until the end of the scholarship, including, where appropriate, any extensions that may be subject to it. Notwithstanding the above, the age requirement contemplated in the previous section 1.c) must be met only at the end of the application submission period. Article 3. Regulatory bases. Order of November 9, 2020 of the Ministry of Business, Industry and Spokesperson, which establishes the regulatory bases for the subsidy, under a competitive competition regime, for the granting of training and internship scholarships in European affairs (BORM no. 277, of November 28, 2020). Article 4. Budget credit and amount. The subsidy will be granted from budget item 11.06.00.126E.483.50, project 47145 of the General Budgets of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, a maximum global allocation is expected in the amount of 38,538.00 euros, with the following estimated distribution by annuities: -2024 Annuity: 18,138.00 euros. -Annuity 2025: 20,400.00 euros. Its granting is conditional on the existence of adequate and sufficient credit at the time of its resolution.
