Object and scope of application 1. The object of this resolution is to call for the granting of subsidies for the promotion of musical activities in the Valencian Community, within the framework of the powers of the IVC and in accordance with the objectives entrusted to it. Subsidies will be awarded in accordance with the principles of publicity, transparency, objectivity, equality and non-discrimination, and through the competitive competition regime. Second. Aid modalities The modalities provided for in this call are the following: 1. Aid for festivals, cycles and commemorative events 2. Aid for programming in exhibition halls 3. Aid for musical improvement courses, contests, conferences and congresses 4. Aid for tours outside the Valencian Community 5. Aid for production projects for live music shows 6. Biennial aid for the organization and maintenance of administrative structures 7. Aid for the composition of newly created musical works linked to their premiere 8. Aid for the promotion of record production Third. Persons and entities beneficiaries of the aid To obtain the status of person or entity beneficiary of this aid, the requirements established in article 3 of the order of bases must be met. Room. Financing of aid, distribution and amounts. In accordance with Law 8/2023, of December 27, on the budgets of the Generalitat for the financial year 2024 (DOGV 9756, 12/30/2023), the aid called will be allocated to the credit provided for in section G0118, entity 016, subsidy line S0995 “Promotion of musical activities”, for an amount of €2,000,000. Without prejudice to the foregoing, the amount corresponding to the 2025 annuity granted in the form of biennial aid for the organization and maintenance of administrative structures will be a maximum of €325,000, which is conditional on the existence of adequate and sufficient credit in the corresponding budget law of the Generalitat for 2025, in accordance with the provisions of application of Law 1/2015, of February 6, of the Generalitat, of public finances, of the instrumental public sector and of subsidies. This amount may be increased if there is an increase in the aforementioned budget line. Fifth. Form and deadline for submitting applications The deadline for submitting applications will be 15 business days from the day following the publication of this call in the Official Gazette of the Generalitat Valenciana. Applications, in a standardized model, must be addressed to the IVC, electronically through the electronic headquarters registry accessible from the website https://sede.ivc.gva.es/ Sixth. Deadline and form of justification and payment of the aid 1. All documents that serve to justify the aid must be signed by the beneficiary, or by the legal representative of the beneficiary entity and presented to the IVC no later than November 30, 2024, electronically through its headquarters. The lack of justification within said period will determine the revocation of the granted subsidy.
