Official description of the call
First.- Object. The Alfaro City Council calls for a Parade of Floats and artistic vehicles in the Festivals of San Roque and San Ezequiel to be celebrated on August 14, 2024. A float is considered to be a mobile platform, decorated with artistic and artisanal criteria and techniques, achieving a professional and aesthetic finish in accordance with the event in which they participate. Any vehicle artistically conditioned for the occasion is considered an artistic vehicle. Second.- Requirements of the participants. All people who wish to participate in the contest, regardless of their nationality and residence, who want to take part in the Parade of floats and vehicles and who have registered until August 7 in the General Registry of the City Council or through the Electronic Headquarters Third.- Amount Those platforms that exceed six points on average will be eligible for the following liquid prizes, this amount being the maximum that can be obtained. 1st PRIZE and TROPHY: €1,500. 2nd PRIZE and TROPHY: €1,400. 3RD PRIZE and TROPHY: €1,300. Floats that obtain an average score greater than four points will obtain a participation voucher of 750 euros, and those floats that do not obtain this score will not be eligible for participation aid. Registered vehicles that have been artistically adapted for this event will be eligible for a participation prize of 150 euros as long as they exceed the jury's rating of six points. Fourth.- Submission Deadline. The deadline for submission to the contest will begin the day after its publication in the Official Gazette of La Rioja and will end on August 7, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. Fifth.- Regulatory bases Regulatory bases and call for the float parade contest for the festivities of San Roque and San Ezequiel 2024, approved by the Government Board of June 19, 2024. Sixth.- Other data of interest. This call, its rules and subsequent announcements relating to the contest will be published in the terms established in articles 18.2 and 20 of the LGS, referring for this purpose to the National Subsidies Database, on the Alfaro City Council Notice Board and the municipal website: www.alfaro.com. Seventh.- Applicable regulations In everything not provided for in these Bases, Law 38/2003 of November 17, General of Subsidies, its Regulation approved by Royal Decree 887/2006 of July 21, Law 39/2015, of October 1, on Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations and the General Ordinance Regulating Subsidies of the Alfaro City Council, will be applicable.
