Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries Natural or legal persons from the private initiative who meet the following conditions may be beneficiaries of the aid: a) Have legal residence or be an entity based in Menorca. b) Organize eligible activities. c) Submit the responsible declaration to the Island Council of Menorca provided for in article 45 of Decree 23/2018, of July 6, which implements various aspects of the youth and leisure regulations. The Island Council of Menorca will review compliance with this requirement ex officio. Second. Purpose The purpose of the call is to provide aid to people and entities organizing children's and youth leisure activities to finance the expenses derived from hiring additional monitor staff to care for children and young people with a recognized degree of disability or dependency who participate in children's and youth educational leisure activities in Menorca, and to finance the participation of these participants. Third. Regulatory bases The call is governed by the bases approved by the Executive Council of the Island Council of Menorca in an ordinary session on June 10, 2024. Fourth. Amount The maximum global amount of the call is €80,000 (eighty thousand euros), according to the following breakdown: Description Line Maximum amount Maximum amount Aid for hiring minor monitors with dependency Line 1. Hiring additional monitor staff. €40,000 €80,000.00 Line 2. Participation of minors with disabilities or dependency €40,000 Fifth. Application submission period The application submission period will begin on September 1, 2024 and will end on September 30, 2024. Sixth. Other information The maximum amounts that can be granted on line 1, provided there is sufficient credit for the call, are a maximum of €1,425/month for each person hired full-time or the proportional part, to care for minors with a recognized degree of dependency or a recognized degree of disability equal to or greater than 33% recognized enrolled in the educational leisure activity. The maximum amounts that can be granted in Line 2, provided there is sufficient credit for the call, are a maximum of €450 for each minor participating in the educational leisure activity with a recognized degree of dependency or a degree of disability equal to or greater than 33%.
