In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies, the extract of the call for the “public competition for the granting of subsidies to sports entities and non-profit entities for the organization of sporting events 2024 is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (http://www.pap.minhap.gob.es/bdnstrans/index): First. Beneficiaries: Sports entities and other non-profit entities with registered office in the province of Ourense, which contemplate in their statutes, among others, the promotion and dissemination of sport in our province, may be beneficiaries. In the case of events proposed by federative structures, the request may come from the Galician federation of the respective modality. Second. Purpose: The purpose of this subsidy is the granting of subsidies for the organization of sporting events during the year 2024. Third. Regulatory bases: Agreement of the Governing Board of June 24, 2024, which establishes the regulatory bases and announces the call for subsidies to sports entities and other non-profit entities with registered office in the province of Ourense for the organization of sporting events 2024. Fourth. The planned allocation amounts to a total of 70,000.00 euros, charged to application 34111/48206 of the budgets of the Provincial Council of Ourense for the year 2024. Fifth. Application submission period: 1. The non-extendable submission period will begin from the publication of the call regulated in these bases in the National Subsidies Database, and will end on the July 31, 2024, this being the last day on which applications may be validly submitted 2. Applicants may only submit, at most, three applications under this call, and must submit one application for each of the projects for which a subsidy is requested. The submission of more than three projects will not be accepted, and all applications that violate the provisions of this basis will not be accepted for processing.
