Extract of the Agreement of the Research Commission of the University of Alcalá of June 17, 2024, by which the Initiation Grants in Research Activity 2024 are called BDNS: 771284 In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General of Subsidies, the extract is published of the call, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (http://www.pap.minhap.gob.es/bdnstrans/index): First. Beneficiaries: University graduates, or with a similar university degree, who meet the requirements established in this call. Second. Object. Promote the initiation and basic training, in scientific and technical research, of those university graduates, or with a similar university degree, who meet the requirements established in this call and wish to carry out research work, in a Department or University Research Institute of the University of Alcalá, in order to access the calls for Predoctoral Research Personnel in Training regulated by article 21 of Law 14/2011, of June 1, on Science, Technology and Innovation. Third. Regulatory bases. Regulatory Bases Framework for the granting of scholarships and research aid by the University of Alcalá (https://www.uah.es/export/sites/uah/es/investigacion/.galleries/Investigacion/Bases_Reguladoras_Becas_Ayudas_Investigacion_UAH.pdf) Fourth. Amount. The amount of aid will be 830 gross euros per month. 20 grants are being called in this call, which is financed from budget application 300M00.541.A645.27. The total amount budgeted to finance the expenses derived from this call is 219,934 euros. Fifth. Deadline and submission of applications. The application submission period will remain open from the day of publication of the call until July 23, 2024, both inclusive. Applications will be submitted through the 'Calls' option available on the Research Staff Portal. Sixth. Other data. The benefit of the aid will be for 12 months, starting on November 1, 2024. The period of benefit of the aid is non-extendable and with exclusive dedication to it. The deadline for joining the aid will be January 1, 2025. Seventh. Awards and selection criteria Applications will be evaluated by the competitive competition procedure by an Evaluation Commission made up of doctoral researchers or professors and researchers who meet the status of vocal members of the Research Commission of the University of Alcalá. Applications will be evaluated according to the following criteria: Average grade of the academic record: It will be valued with a maximum score of 10 points according to the scale established in this call. Extraordinary award for the university degree that gives access to the master's degree: 1.5 points. Alcalá de Henares, June 17, 2024.
