Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries. 1. Natural persons of legal age who meet the following requirements may be beneficiaries of the aid: a) Be the holder as tenant/assignee of any of the following contracts: 1) Housing lease, formalized in the terms provided for in Law 29/1994, of November 24, on Urban Leases. 2º) Transfer of use of housing. 3º) Lease or transfer of use of a room. b) Possess Spanish nationality or that of one of the Member States of the European Union or, in the case of foreigners from third countries (outside the EU), have legal residence in Spain. This same requirement will be required for each of the people who have their habitual and permanent residence in the rented/transferred home. c) That the total sum of the annual income of the people who have their habitual and permanent residence in the rented/transferred home is equal to or less than 3 times the Public Multiple Effect Income Indicator (IPREM) with the following exceptions: Situation No. of times IPREM Large family of general category 4 People with disabilities 4 Victims of terrorism 4 Large families of special category 5 People with a recognized degree of disability equal to or greater than 33% 5 To determine the aforementioned annual income, the amounts of the general tax base added to the savings tax base, regulated in the Personal Income Tax legislation, corresponding to the tax data relating to the fiscal year closed immediately prior to the date of submission of the application, will be used. The resulting amount will be converted into the number of times the IPREM, referring to 14 payments, in force on the date of submission of the aid application. In the case of leasing/transfer of use of the room, only the annual income of the lessee/transferee will be considered. Second. Object. The purpose of this Order is to call, within the territorial scope of the Region of Murcia, aid for the rental of housing to facilitate tenants or transferees with limited financial means access to the enjoyment of a home or room by subsidizing the payment of part of the rental income or transfer price. Third. Regulatory bases. Order of the Ministry of Development and Infrastructure, of November 17, 2023, approving the regulatory bases for granting aid from the program for housing rental (PEAV 2022/2025) (BORM no. 269, of 11/21/2023). Room. Application submission deadline. The deadline for submitting applications will begin the month following the publication of the extract of this call order in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia and will end on March 1, 2025. Fifth.- Objective conditions for access to aid. To access the aid, the following conditions must be met: a) That the rented/assigned home/room is located within the territorial area of the Region of Murcia and constitutes the habitual and permanent domicile of the tenant/assignee at the time of requesting the aid and throughout the duration of the aid. When the beneficiary of the aid changes their address to another located in the Region of Murcia for which they sign a new lease or transfer of use contract, they will be obliged to communicate said change to the granting body within a maximum period of fifteen days from the signing of the new contract. The right to the subsidy will not be lost as long as the new contract meets all the requirements, limits and conditions established in this order, and is formalized without temporary interruption with the previous one. In these cases, the amount of the aid will be adjusted to that of the new rent or price, and must be, in any case, equal to or less than the recognized rent that was being received. b) The rental rent/transfer price established in the contract may not exceed the following limits: 1) In the case of housing: six hundred euros (€600) per month, taking into account, if applicable, the rent limitations established in the protected housing legislation. 2º) In case of room: three hundred euros (€300) per month.
