Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries. Legally constituted sports clubs, adapted to Law 8/2015, of March 24, on Physical Activity and Sports of the Region of Murcia, with their own legal personality, non-profit and that meet the requirements established in the bases of the call. Those general non-profit sports associations whose purposes according to their statutes include the promotion of sports and physical activity and that meet the requirements established in the bases of the call. Individual athletes who compete at a national or international level, stand out in their disciplines and meet the requirements established in the rules of the call. Second. Object. The purpose of this call is to call, in accordance with the Ordinance Regulating the Specific Bases for the granting of subsidies under a competitive competition regime to non-profit clubs, sports associations and individual athletes published in the B.O.R.M. of August 26, 2021, subsidies to said entities and athletes and for the following purposes: 1st. Promote physical activity and sports in the municipality, through non-profit sports associations and clubs. 2nd. Help individual athletes and teams that participate and stand out in national and international competitions, in federated competitions. 3rd. Help sports clubs and associations with the expenses that may arise from the organization of popular registration sports events in the municipality of Las Torres de Cotillas. Third. Regulatory bases. The Regulatory Ordinance of the Specific Bases for the granting of subsidies under a competitive competition regime to non-profit Clubs, Sports Associations and Individual Athletes approved by Plenary Agreement of May 31, 2021, are published in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia No. 197, of August 26, 2021 and on the website of the Las Torres de Cotillas City Council. Room. Amount. The budget credits to which the subsidy is allocated are charged to budget application 341.489.01 “Subsidies for Sports Associations-Promotion of Physical Activity and Sports”, and the maximum total amount of the subsidies called is €35,000. This total amount is divided into three lines of subsidies, with the following amount and destination: Line intended for Associations or Clubs that are competing in regular leagues in the year of the call at the “federated” level. Summoned amount of 18,000'00 euros. Line intended for “individual” athletes who are competing in the year of the call at a national or international federated level. Summoned amount of 6,000'00 euros. Line intended for the organization and execution of specific sporting events or leagues without financing in the municipality of Las Torres de Cotillas, with public registration and held in establishments or public spaces during the year of the call, by sports clubs and associations, with a maximum of 3 different events per entity. Summoned amount of 11,000'00 euros. Fifth. Application submission deadline. The deadline for submitting applications will be 15 business days, counting from the day following the publication of its extract in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia. The publication will be made through the BDNS, once the text of the call and the information required for its publication have been presented to it. Sixth. Other data. The application will be submitted in the manner indicated in article 6 of the Ordinance Regulating the Specific Bases for the granting of subsidies under a competitive competition regime to non-profit clubs, sports associations and individual athletes, accompanying the documents specified therein. The instruction, assessment and proposed resolution will be carried out in accordance with the provisions of article 9 of the Ordinance.
