Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries. Those natural or legal persons, public or private, may obtain the status of beneficiaries of the subsidy, provided that they have tax residence in Spain, and are owners, as owners or operators, of establishments located in the territory of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia that are the object of the investment and that are intended for tourist accommodation in the modalities detailed in the fifth regulatory basis of this Order. Second. Object. Call for subsidies aimed at achieving the objectives set out in the Cohesion Action between Destinations (ACD) “Revitalization and Sustainability Plan for Tourist Accommodations in the Region of Murcia”, integrated into the Territorial Plan for Tourism Sustainability in Destinations of the Region of Murcia-Extraordinary Program 2022, which is part of the Tourism Sustainability Strategy in Destinations and contributing, therefore, to achieving the objectives related to Component 14 Investment 1, Submeasure 2 of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (PRTR), to which it belongs. The purpose of this aid is to facilitate and promote projects to improve and modernize tourist accommodation in the Region of Murcia, improving quality and effectively incorporating aspects such as energy efficiency, digitalization and sustainability in the management of establishments. Third. Regulatory bases. Annex I of the Order of August 5, 2024 of the Ministry of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Sports, which establishes the regulatory bases and approves the call for aid for the modernization of tourist accommodation and improvement in the areas of green and sustainable transition, energy efficiency and digital transition within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan - Financed by the European Union - NextGenerationEU. Room. Amount. The budget destined to finance this call will amount to 7,692,308 euros. Fifth. Application submission deadline. The deadline for submitting applications will be 3 months, counting from the day following the publication of the extract of the call in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia. Sixth. Other data. The presentation of the application will be carried out, in accordance with article 14.3 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations, exclusively electronically, through the procedure with code 3673 of the CARM Electronic Headquarters (https://sede.carm.es). Any application submitted following a different procedure will be inadmissible. In the event that any of the applicants present their application in person, they will be required to correct it through electronic submission in the terms provided for in article 68.4 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure of Public Administrations. For these purposes, the date of submission of the application will be considered the date on which the correction was made.
