First.- Beneficiaries. 1. Small and medium-sized companies (that employ less than 250 people and whose annual turnover does not exceed €50 million or whose annual balance sheet does not exceed €43 million) may have the status of beneficiaries, in the terms established in the third base of Order EYH/1286/2021, modified by Order EYH/440/2024, all according to the specifications included in the Annex to the Regulation. 651/2014 of the European Commission of June 17), that have their headquarters, or at least one work center in Castilla y León, and that carry out business projects that consist of obtaining a certification or a verification report or validation of codes of conduct, norms or standards in the field of corporate social responsibility. 2. Entities belonging to the public sector will not be able to benefit from these subsidies. Second.- Object. The purpose of this Resolution is to call for and regulate the procedure for granting subsidies to facilitate the financing of projects aimed at implementing Corporate Social Responsibility in SMEs in Castilla y León. Third.- Regulatory Bases. Order EYH/1286/2021, of October 26, which approves the regulatory bases for subsidies aimed at implementing corporate social responsibility in SMEs in Castilla y León, modified by Order EYH/440/2024, of May 14. Fourth.- Amount. 1. The subsidy will consist of a non-refundable subsidy that will be determined as a fixed percentage of 65% to be applied to the eligible cost. This percentage will be increased by 5% if the work center is located in a municipality of less than 10,000 inhabitants, or by 3,000 if it is less than 30 km from the provincial capital, with the aid percentage being 70%; and it will be increased by 10%, if the work center is located in the mining municipalities included in the Annex to the regulatory bases, or in the intervention areas of the Territorial Development Programs approved by the competent Department of the Junta de Castilla y León, or in the province of Soria, the aid percentage being 75%. 2. The amount of the subsidy may in no case exceed €3,000 per company for the expenses derived from the contracting of consulting and technical assistance services for projects to implement Corporate Social Responsibility. This amount may be increased to €4,000 per company when expenses derived from contracting and achieving a certification carried out by an entity recognized as a certification entity by the owner of the CSR scheme or accredited by the National Accreditation Entity of European Union countries in the model, standard or system of Corporate Social Responsibility subject to certification are justified. In the case of calculating the carbon footprint, the amount of the subsidy may not exceed €2,000 per company. This amount may be increased to €3,000 when said calculation has been verified by an external certification entity that has adequate technical competence. Fifth.- Application submission deadline. The deadline for submitting applications will begin the day after the publication of the extract of this Call in the “Official Gazette of Castilla y León” and will end on February 28, 2025, although this deadline may be shortened in the event of budget exhaustion, with notification being made known through publication of its closure.
