Extract of the Agreement of the Research Commission of the University of Alcalá of October 2, 2024, by which the Bridge Financing Aid to Consolidated Groups 2024 is called BDNS: 789649 In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General of Subsidies, the extract is published of the call, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (http://www.pap.minhap.gob.es/bdnstrans/index): First. Beneficiaries: Principal researchers of research projects granted to the University of Alcalá who have had external funding obtained in subsidized projects within the framework of the State Research Plan in the last five years (2019-2023) and who have had their project application submitted in the last call with a favorable evaluation from the State Research Agency or equivalent body, may apply for these grants. Second. Object. The purpose of this call is to address the most urgent needs of those research groups that have a track record of research with external resources in recent years and that, for various reasons, do not have external funding for the current year. With these grants we try to avoid, as far as possible, paralyzing the research activity of consolidated research groups. Third. Regulatory bases. Regulatory Bases Framework for the granting of scholarships and research aid by the University of Alcalá (https://www.uah.es/export/sites/uah/es/investigacion/.galleries/Investigacion/Bases_Reguladoras_Becas_Ayudas_Investigacion_UAH.pdf) Fourth. Amount. The maximum amount to be awarded per project will be €10,000. The financing of this call will correspond to the University of Alcalá with a contribution of €25,000 that will correspond to the budget application 30400M000 541A 64903. Fifth. Deadline and submission of applications. The deadline for submitting applications will be from the day following the publication of this call until October 18, 2024. The application will be made electronically through the “calls” option available on the researcher portal of the UNIVERSITAS XXI-INVESTIGACIÓN computer system. Sixth. Other data. The maximum duration of the projects will be one year. The start date of the projects will be established in the Final Resolution. The IP may request from the Vice-Rector for Research and Transfer a different start date that in no case may be before January 1, 2024 as long as there is a justified cause. Seventh. Awards and selection criteria The applications will be studied and evaluated by the Valuation Commission that will be in charge of making the proposal of projects to be subsidized and their amount. The evaluation criteria will be the following: Prior funding obtained through competitive calls financed by institutions external to the UAH in the last 5 years will be evaluated as a priority criterion. In the resolution of the call, the Assessment Commission will take into account the average of the resources raised by the applicant researcher in the last five years through said calls.
