EXTRACT FROM MAYORAL DECREE NO. 2025/0441 DATED FEBRUARY 10, 2025, APPROVING THE SPECIFIC REGULATORY BASES AND CALL FOR SUBSIDIES 2024, UNDER THE REGIME OF COMPETITIVE CONCURRENCY FOR BIRTH SUPPORT (File No. 921/2025) First. Beneficiaries. The following people can apply for the subsidy: Parents or adopters of the child, holders of the family book in which their birth or adoption is recorded. In cases of annulment, separation or divorce of the parents, the beneficiary of the benefit will be the father/mother in whose custody the children are to remain, in accordance with the provisions of the regulatory agreement or judicial ruling of annulment, separation or divorce, and in the case of shared custody, it will be distributed 50% between the parents. Parents who are totally or partially deprived of parental authority over their children, or whose guardianship has been assumed by a public institution, may not be beneficiaries. Foreigners who meet the requirements of these bases may be beneficiaries as long as they meet the conditions of legal residence in Spain (Organic Law 4/2000, on rights and freedoms of foreigners in Spain and implementing regulations). Host families who can demonstrate a foster period of more than 8 months in 2024, even if they are different minors. Second. Purpose Aid, on a competitive basis, that the Alcalá la Real City Council grants for the birth or adoption of children to promote birth rates in the municipality that helps to meet the expenses derived from this new situation for families. Births or adoptions that occur from January 1, 2024 to December 31, 2024 will be subject to the subsidy. Third. Regulatory Bases The bases applicable to this call appear on the electronic headquarters of the Alcalá la Real City Council: https://alcalalareal.sedelectronica.es/doc/4TK3GGFAEKSJJT52PKHEDJ5Y3/.2 and on its website https://alcalalareal.es/ and in the National Subsidies Database (BDNS) Fourth. Amount The maximum global amount of the aid called, for the period of births or adoptions between January 1, 2024 and December 31, 2024, amounts to €50,000.00, charged to budget application 430 42320 of the Municipal Budget for the year 2025. The amount of aid granted for birth or adoption will consist of single payment and an amount of FOUR HUNDRED EUROS (€400.00) for each child born or adopted up to the maximum limit of the budget allocation enabled for this purpose. In the case of multiple births, this amount will be granted for each minor born in the established period, as well as for each adopted minor, if there is more than one. Fifth. Deadline and place for submitting applications. The application for aid for the recognition of the right to receive aid for birth or adoption will be made, duly completed and accompanied by the required documentation, by any of the following means In person at the registry of the Alcalá la Real City Council. Electronically through the electronic headquarters of the Alcalá la Real City Council. https://alcalalareal.sedelectronica.es/ Through the rest of the procedures established in article 16.4 of Law 39/2015, of October 1, on the Common Administrative Procedure. The application must be signed by both parents or adopters. In the event that only one parent is recorded in the Family Book or administrative resolution, or if there are two parents, only one of them takes exclusive care of the children, the application must be signed only by the parent, except in justified exceptions. The deadline for submitting the application will be fifteen business days from the day following the publication of this call extract in the Official Gazette of the Province of Jaén. Applications submitted outside the established deadline will be inadmissible for processing through a reasoned resolution that will be notified to the interested parties in the manner provided for in Law 39/2015, of October 1, on Common Administrative Procedure.
