Official description of the call

First. Object and purpose. The purpose of this Resolution is to make the call, on a non-competitive basis, for the Birth Bonus aimed at families in Castilla y León for the birth of daughters or sons or the adoption of minors between January 1 and December 31, 2025. Its purpose is to subsidize the expenses of each new birth or adoption of minors, through a prepaid card that can be used for the acquisition of basic products for infant feeding, diapers and hygiene products, among others, with the requirements and conditions detailed in the Call. Second. Beneficiaries. Families whose parents or the sole family responsible, in the case of single-parent families or women victims of gender violence (by any of the means provided for in Law 13/2010), have daughters or sons born, or minors adopted, between January 1 and December 31, 2025, have legal residence in Spain, have a valid document proving such situation, are registered in a municipality of Castilla y León on the date of birth of the minor that gives the right to the subsidy and who must also be registered in a municipality of Castilla y León. Third. Regulatory bases. Order FAM/1972/2022, of December 29, 2022, of the Ministry of Family and Equal Opportunities, which approves the regulatory bases for the granting of the Birth Bonus to families in Castilla y León for the care of children, due to birth or adoption, modified by ORDER FAM/83/2024, of February 2. Room. Amount. The credit allocated for the granting of the Birth Bonus amounts to €19,600,000.00. In accordance with the provisions of article 16.3 of Law 5/2008, of September 25, on Subsidies of the Community of Castilla y León, and in order to meet all subsidy applications, an additional amount may be added to the financing described. Fifth. Application submission deadline. The deadline for submitting the application will be 3 months from the date of birth or adoption, or from the publication of this extract in the B.O.C. and L., in the case of children born between January 1, 2025 and said publication date. The application for complementary disability aid may be submitted together with the initial application or later and before the child turns five years old, under subsequent calls.
