Official description of the call

1st. First: Object and purpose. The purpose of this agreement is to call for subsidies, on a competitive basis and through the Department of Education, for subsidies for the year 2025 to centers supported with public funds for early childhood education (2nd cycle), primary and special education in Cartagena, for the development of materials in order to promote project-based learning, experimentation and innovation in the classroom, cooperative work of students, work by competencies and tasks, formation of creative classrooms in the field. artistic, mathematical or scientific, the use of new technologies in the classroom, online learning, the use of social networks and/or activity programs carried out outdoors. 2nd.- Second: Budget allocation and subsidy amount. The subsidies regulated in this call will be granted from the expenses budget of the Department of Education in the budget application 2025-06001-3261-48218 for a total amount of €18,000.00 (eighteen thousand euros). These subsidies will be compatible with the receipt of other subsidies, aid, resources or income from other Administrations and public or private entities not dependent on the City Council of Cartagena, although, and in any of the cases provided for in this point and in the previous one, the beneficiary will not be able to receive a subsidy, aid or financing that exceeds the cost of the subsidized activity. 3º.- General conditions of the call. The Regulatory Bases of this call can be obtained on the website of the Cartagena City Council and approved in the Agreement of the Local Government Board on March 13, 2025, they can be consulted at: https://www.cartagena.es/becas_ayudas_subvenciones.asp Its instruction and granting will be carried out through competitive competition by the procedure provided for in the Budget Execution Bases and by the bodies designated in the following sections of this document. call. The expenses eligible for financing are, in any case, eligible general expenses such as those provided for in the Bases regulating the granting of Subsidies, so no inventoriable assets may be acquired or works carried out. All expenses must correspond to those incurred during the financial year 2025. 4º.- Beneficiaries and requirements to apply. All educational centers in the municipality of Cartagena supported by public funds and that teach Early Childhood, Primary and Special Education may be beneficiaries. To be a beneficiary of the subsidies, they must meet the requirements established in the Regulatory Bases for the granting of Subsidies, accrediting them using the ANNEX II model that accompanies this call. They must be up to date with their tax and Social Security obligations issued by the Tax Agency and the General Treasury of Social Security, except when the beneficiary is not obliged to present the declarations or documents referred to in the previous obligations. Have no pending justification (with a deadline for justification completed) before this City Council for any aid, financing or subsidy granted. These requirements must be maintained throughout the entire concession process and until December 31, 2025. 5.- Deadline for submitting applications. The deadline for submitting applications, accompanied by the required documentation, will be fifteen calendar days from the day following the publication of the extract of this call in the BORM. The call will be published in the BDNS (National Subsidies Database) in compliance with the provisions of the LGS, in accordance with the procedure established therein. 6º.- Presentation of applications.
