Official description of the call
The purpose of this agreement is to call for subsidies, on a competitive basis and through the Department of Education, for subsidies for the year 2025 to Secondary Education Institutes, Integrated Vocational Training Centers, Special Regime Education Centers, and Regional Adult Personnel Education Center, which carry out activities at the local, regional or national level, in which intellectual abilities are promoted and rewarded. linguistic, creative, computer science, knowledge and use of another language, online learning and management of new technologies, unique actions in favor of education, and those that promote values of tolerance and coexistence. 2nd.- Second: Budget allocation and maximum subsidy amount. The subsidies regulated in this call will be granted from the expenses budget of the Department of Education in the budget application 2025-06001-3261-48218, for a total amount of €7,000.00 (seven thousand euros). RC number 2025.2.0005500.000 is provided. These subsidies will be compatible with the receipt of other subsidies, aid, resources or income from other Administrations and public or private entities not dependent on the City Council of Cartagena, although, and in any of the cases provided for in this point and in the previous one, the beneficiary will not be able to receive a subsidy, aid or financing that exceeds the cost of the subsidized activity. 3º.- General conditions of the call. The Legal Regime to be applied in this call for subsidies will be that established in the Regulatory Bases for the granting of subsidies from the Municipal Budget, without prejudice to the direct application of the basic precepts of Law 38/2003 of November 17, General of Subsidies and of Royal Decree 887/2006, of July 21, which approves the Regulation of the General Law of Subsidies, the Law 7/1985, of April 2, regulating the Bases of Local Regime, and the Consolidated Text of the Law regulating Local Treasury, approved by Royal Legislative Decree 2/2004, of March 5. The Regulatory Bases for this call can be obtained on the Cartagena City Council website: www.cartagena.es. Its instruction and concession will be carried out through competitive competition by the procedure provided for in the Budget Execution Bases and by the bodies designated in the following sections of this call. The Hon. Cartagena City Council, through its Department of Education, may request lists of beneficiaries of the subsidized activities. Therefore, entities must request prior authorization from their users for the processing of personal data in accordance with the Organic Law on Protection of Personal Data (Law 15/1999 of December 13). The expenses eligible for financing are, in any case, eligible general expenses such as those provided for in the Bases regulating the granting of Subsidies, so no inventoriable assets may be acquired or works carried out. All expenses must correspond to those incurred during the financial year 2025. 4º.- Beneficiaries and requirements to apply. Secondary Education Institutes (IES), Integrated Vocational Training Centers (CIFP), Spatial Regime Teaching Centers and the Regional Center for Adults may be beneficiaries, all of them in the municipality of Cartagena that meet the rest of the requirements established hereinafter. To be a beneficiary of the subsidies, they must meet the requirements established in the Regulatory Bases for the granting of Subsidies, accrediting them using the ANNEX II model that accompanies this call. They must be up to date with their tax and Social Security obligations issued by the Tax Agency and the General Treasury of Social Security. Have no pending justification (with a deadline for justification completed) before this City Council for any aid, financing or subsidy granted. These requirements must be maintained throughout the entire concession process and until December 31, 2025. 5.- Deadline for submitting applications.
