Grassroots associations that have their registered office in the District of Usera, that are registered in Section 1 in the Municipal Census of Citizen Entities and Groups of the Madrid City Council and meet the requirements established in the Ordinance of General Regulatory Bases of the Madrid City Council. Second. Object. The purpose of this call for subsidies is to strengthen the associative fabric and promote the active involvement of citizens in community life, helping to consolidate the continuity and growth of associations, as well as improving social cohesion, well-being and quality of life in the neighborhoods. The amount of the subsidy will be considered a certain amount for the purposes of the provisions of article 18.1 of the OBRGS, understanding, consequently, that the difference in financing necessary for the full execution of the subsidized project or activity is the responsibility of the beneficiary entity, and public financing must be reimbursed, where appropriate, for the amount by which it exceeds the total cost of said activity.
