Official description of the call
First. Beneficiaries: those who have obtained an extraordinary end-of-degree award for studies completed and completed at the University of Murcia, in the edition corresponding to those who completed their studies in the 2023/2024 academic year. Second. Purpose: to distinguish the extraordinary academic achievement evidenced by the most outstanding students of the University of Murcia, this being specified, in this case, in the fact that the call is open in favor of those who have obtained an extraordinary end-of-degree award in the 2023/2024 academic year. Third. Regulatory bases: Agreement of the Plenary Session of the Social Council of the University of Murcia, meeting in an ordinary session on March 26, 2025, by which the IV edition of the Social Council of the University of Murcia Award for Academic Excellence is convened, academic year 2023/2024. Room. Number and amount of prizes: allocation of an individual amount of 1000 euros. The Social Council of the University of Murcia will award five (5) prizes, distributed at the rate of one prize for each of the five branches of knowledge existing at the University of Murcia: 1) Branch of Health Sciences, 2) Branch of Sciences, 3) Branch of Arts and Humanities, 4) Branch of Social and Legal Sciences, and 5) Branch of Engineering and Architecture. Each award will consist of recognition verified by means of an accrediting diploma and a financial award of 1,000 (thousand) euros for each person awarded, in accordance with the procedure and criteria described in the sixth base and the conditions established in the tenth base. Fifth. Application submission deadline: until May 13, 2025. Sixth. Submission of applications: applications will be completed through a basic instance at the Electronic Headquarters of the University of Murcia and will be presented through the Electronic Registry of the University of Murcia at the URL: https://sede.um.es/registro2/PR-SG-002/acceso.seam
