Official description of the call
The Local Government Board, by agreement adopted on April 25, 2025, approved the call for the granting of subsidies aimed at providing neighborhood associations with financial aid to defray the expenses incurred by the execution of festive and recreational events and activities on the occasion of the celebration of traditional festivals in the respective neighborhoods and districts of the municipality, during the year 2024, the extract of which is the following: 1.- PURPOSE. The purpose of this call for subsidies is to define the conditions and procedure to be followed for the granting of subsidies aimed at providing neighborhood associations with financial aid to cover the expenses incurred by the execution of festive and recreational events and activities on the occasion of the celebration of traditional festivals in the respective neighborhoods and districts of the municipality, during the year 2024. Eligible expenses are: Expenses for hiring artistic groups, orchestras, artistic attractions and similar. Rental of sound equipment, generator sets, chairs, tables and electrical hookups for activities. Consumables needed for events, including purchasing groceries for holiday activities. 2.- BENEFICIARIES Resident associations of the municipality of Lorca who request it may benefit from this call, in accordance with the content of this call. Associations that have not justified, in a timely manner, the receipt of subsidies obtained from this Local Administration prior to these bases will not be eligible for this call. Nor will those associations that have been beneficiaries of another subsidy, under competitive or direct competition, from the Hon. Lorca City Council for the same purpose and year to which these bases refer. 3.- FINANCING OF THE CALL. A maximum total amount of 46,000 euros is allocated to the granting of this aid, charged to the current Municipal Budget, item 60,924,489. 4.- AMOUNTS OF AID A subsidy is established for carrying out the activities or purposes set out in section 1 of this call, which may not exceed 3,000 euros, nor the amount budgeted for their development. 5.- APPLICATIONS, PLACE AND PERIOD OF SUBMISSION. Those who wish to take part in this call for aid must apply through a standardized application, according to the annex included in this call, and which will be provided to them in the Department of Fairs and Festivals of the Lorca City Council, and may also access it through the municipal website www.lorca.es. Applications will be submitted electronically through the Electronic Headquarters of Lorca City Council (www.lorca.es), requiring a digital certificate. The deadline for submitting applications will be TWENTY WORKING DAYS counted from the day following the publication of the announcement of this call in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia, which will be published on the bulletin board of the Lorca City Council. Notifications will be made by electronic means. All those requests that the neighborhood associations have formulated prior to the approval of these bases and that, working in the Department of Fairs and Festivals, refer to the execution of the activities and the years to which this call refer, will become part of this call. 6.- OTHER INFORMATION: The full text of the call, the standardized application models and the reference to the corresponding information services are available at: Department of Fairs and Festivals of the Lorca City Council. Against the agreement of the Local Government Board, which exhausts the administrative route, an appeal for reconsideration may be filed, on an optional basis, within a period of one month from the day following the publication of the extract of the call in the BORM, or a contentious-administrative appeal, within a period of two months from the day following said publication.
