XLI CALL FOR YOUNG ART EXHIBITION LA RIOJA 2025

Official description of the call
First: Beneficiaries. 2025 artists of Spanish nationality may attend the XLI Young Art Exhibition in La Rioja, as well as foreigners domiciled in Spain whose year of birth is between 1990 and 2008, both inclusive. The presentation of the artistic development projects included in article 1.2 b) of Order 7/2016, of July 27, may only be carried out by young people born or residing in La Rioja. The form of accreditation of the residence requirement in Spain for young foreigners must be carried out in the manner indicated in article 2.2 of the Regulatory Bases Order. Regarding the accreditation of residence in La Rioja, the provisions of article 2.3 of Order 7/2016, of July 27, will be followed. Second: Object. Approve the expense and proceed with the call for the XLI Young Art Exhibition in La Rioja 2025, a youth activity organized by the Ministry of Culture, Tourism, Sports and Youth in order to promote contemporary artistic and design practices. Third: Regulatory Bases. Order 7/2016, of July 27, of the Ministry of Social Policies, Family, Equality and Justice, which approves the regulatory bases of the Young Art Exhibition in La Rioja (BOR number 87, of July 29, 2016) Fourth: Total amount of the subsidy. A total amount of twenty thousand euros (20,000 euros) that will be charged to budget item 07.04.2711.480.02 of the Expenditure Budget of the Ministry of Culture, Tourism, Sports and Youth for the year 2025. Fifth: Deadline for submitting applications. The deadline for submitting applications will be from the day following the publication of the extract of the Resolution calling for this Exhibition in the Official Gazette of La Rioja until September 30, 2025, in accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3b), 20.8.a) and 23.2.g) of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General Subsidies. Sixth: Other data of interest. Call: The full text of the Call Resolution will be available at the following address on the website of the Government of La Rioja (https://www.larioja.org/oficina-electronica/es?web=&proc=15167) Applications.- Young people interested in participating in this Exhibition must, from the date of production of effects of this call indicated in Section Ten of Resolution 160/2025 call until September 30, 2025, send to the following email address: sampleartejovenrioja@larioja.org a) Identification data of the participant: In attached text file (Word or editable PDF) name and surname, DNI or NIE, nationality, date of birth, place of birth, complete postal address and location of current address, telephone, email and title of the work presented. b) Identification data of the works: Three photographs of each work presented in JPG format whose file name must be the title of the work (with the limitation of 3 megabytes per file); an attached text file (Word or editable PDF) with the technical aspects of the work that includes the title of the work, dimensions, technique, format or support and, if the author considers it appropriate, a brief summary of theoretical or other aspects that he or she wishes to highlight (maximum 180 words). If it is a sound, performative or audiovisual work, in addition to what is required above, an audiovisual file or download link will be sent (youtube viewing will not be accepted), always in standard reproduction format (avi, mpg, dvd, vob) and with the limitation of 500 megabytes indicated in the Fourth section of the Resolution. An acknowledgment of receipt of said email will be sent to all participants, so if said acknowledgment is not received, it means that the request for participation has not been correctly received at the email address indicated above (section Five.1 of Resolution 160/2025). Every project must contain a maximum of 10 pages, in A4 vertical format that include the following: Title of the project along with the name and surname of the participant. Description of the project in which it is clearly detailed through texts, images or sketches what the project consists of.
