Extract from the Agreement of the Research Commission of the University of Alcalá of June 10, 2025, by which the University of Alcalá Award for the best European Research Project 2025 is announced BDNS: 839516 In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, General of Subsidies, the extract of the call whose full text can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (http://www.pap.minhap.gob.es/bdnstrans/index): First. Beneficiaries Candidates who meet the following requirements may apply for this call: That the researcher is part of the Teaching and Research Staff of the University of Alcalá with permanent employment and is active full-time. That the researcher meets the status of PI in case the project is coordinated by the UAH or project manager in case the UAH does not have the status of coordinator. That, at the time of granting the European research project, the researcher was linked to the UAH. Second. Purpose The Vice-Rector for Research and Transfer announces the University of Alcalá Award for the best European research project within the framework of the policy of encouraging the submission of proposals and granting of European research projects. This call aims to recognize the achievement of a high-impact European research project that maximizes the visibility of our researchers, resulting in an improvement in the image and positioning of the UAH itself. Third. Regulatory Bases Regulatory Bases Framework for the granting of scholarships and research aid by the University of Alcalá (https://www.uah.es/export/sites/uah/es/investigacion/.galleries/Investigacion/Bases_Reguladoras_Becas_Ayudas_Investigacion_UAH.pdf) Fourth. Amount A prize of €2,500, taxes included, and a second prize of €1,000, taxes included, will be awarded. The total amount of the call is €3,500 and will be financed from the budget application 30400M000 541A 64516. Fifth. Deadline and submission of applications The deadline for submitting applications will remain open from the day following the publication of the call in the BOCM until July 25, 2025, both included. Applications will be submitted through the 'Calls' option available on the Research Staff Portal. Sixth. Awards and selection criteria The candidatures will be evaluated by a Jury made up of prestigious expert members for each of the branches to which the presented candidates belong. Its specific composition will be approved by the Research Commission, at the proposal of the Vice-Rector for Research and Transfer. Applications will be evaluated according to the following criteria: The volume of European funding obtained. The size of the consortium. The total score achieved in the evaluation of the Financing Entity. The impact of research.
