Official description of the call
First.- Beneficiaries and requirements. Young people who meet the following requirements may be beneficiaries of the aid contemplated in this order: Being born between January 1, 2002 and December 31, 2011. Being registered in a municipality in the province of the Region of Murcia, as of the end of the application submission period. Having completed a camp, youth meeting or course aimed at learning a language abroad, during the period from September 2, 2024 to August 31, 2025, both inclusive, and must have completed them on said date. Not be included in any of the prohibitions or exclusions included in section 2 of article 13 of Law 38/2003, of November 17. However, taking into account the nature of the subsidies subject to this order, compliance with the requirements contemplated in section 2 e) of the aforementioned article is exempt. Minor beneficiaries will act through their representative (father, mother or guardian). Second.- Object and purpose. The purpose of this order is to call, under a special concurrence regime, financial aid for young people between the ages of 14 and 23, for their participation in camps, youth meetings and courses for learning a language abroad, which take place during the period from September 2, 2024 to August 31, 2025, both inclusive. The purpose of granting this aid is, on the one hand, to promote the participation of the young population in free-time activities within the framework of non-formal education, encouraging the exchange of experiences, coexistence and exposure to other cultures and, on the other, to promote training in linguistic skills for young people, taking into account the importance of language study as a means to facilitate their mobility and future job placement. Third.- Regulatory bases. The regulatory bases by which these aids are governed have been established by Order of the Ministry of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Sports, of June 18, 2024, which approves the regulatory bases for the granting of aid to young people for the implementation of youth programs and activities (BORM No. 152, of July 2, 2024). Fourth.- Amount of the subsidy and budget allocation. The total amount of aid may not exceed the amount of €487,000.00 for the current year, distributed in the different categories of line 1 referred to in the previous article and charged to the credits of the following items of the General Budgets of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia for the year 2025, by virtue of the Order of December 23, 2024 of the Ministry of Economy, Treasury, European Funds and Digital Transformation, which regulates the application of the extension of the General Budgets of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia for the year 2024, during the year 2025: A) Line 1.1: €350,000.00 that will be used to finance the participation of young people in youth camps and meetings, charged to the budget item 19.02.00.323A.484.41, Project 51125 “Aid to young people for holding youth camps and meetings.” - €200 for line 1.1. a), camps. - €100 for line 1.1.b), youth meetings. B) Line 1.2: €137,000.00 that will be used to finance the participation of young people in courses for learning a language abroad, charged to budget item 19.02.00.323A.484.41, project 51124 “Aid for young people to carry out language learning activities abroad”, in the amount of €350. The distribution of the credits between the different categories of the subsidy line is estimated so, if the credit available for each category is not exhausted, the remainder may be used to finance the aid corresponding to the other eligible category. Fifth.- Application submission deadline. The deadline for submitting applications will be from September 1 to September 15, 2025, both included.
