Official description of the call
1.- Regulatory bases This call is governed by the regulatory bases for the granting of subsidies to associations of parents of students (AMPAS) and associations of students of centers supported by public funds, approved by the Plenary Session of the Paterna City Council on June 29, 2022 and whose full text was published in BOP No. 194 dated October 7, 2022. 2-OBJECT This call aims to promote the effective participation of Associations of Mothers and Fathers of students and Student Associations in the organization and management of educational process schools; the financing of partial expenses derived from its general operation and certain activities thereof; support for the following purposes included in the regional regulations: a) Assist parents or guardians in everything that concerns the education of their children or wards. b) Collaborate in the educational activities of the Centers. c) Promote and facilitate the participation of parents of students in the management of the Centers. d) Assist parents of students in the exercise of their right to intervene in the control and management of Centers supported by public funds. e) Facilitate the representation and participation of parents of students in the School Councils of public and subsidized centers and in other collegiate bodies, including through the presentation of candidates. f) Ensure respect for the rights of students. g) Promote and organize, where appropriate, the carrying out of extracurricular and complementary cultural, sports and recreational activities. h) Represent the general interests of parents before educational bodies and other organizations. i) Any others that, within the framework of the regulations referred to in the previous article, assign their respective Statutes. 3.- RECIPIENTS OF THE AID The Associations of Mothers and Fathers of Students (AMPA) and the Student Associations of Paterna are considered the recipients of this call. The associations must be linked to educational centers in the municipality of Paterna supported by public funds that provide both compulsory and non-compulsory levels of education. 4.- REQUIREMENTS To be a beneficiary of the subsidy: 1- The association must be registered and with updated data in the registry of associations of the Paterna City Council, as established in the Regulations of Organization, Operation and Legal Regime of Local Entities. 2- Not be subject to circumstances that prohibit receiving it, as established in article 13 of Law 38/2003, General Subsidies. 5.-BUDGET ALLOCATION AND CRITERIA FOR AWARDING AMOUNTS The financial allocation of the subsidy called is awarded under the budget application: 3230-48100 “Teaching Aid Subv.” of the Paterna City Council 2025 expenditure budget, for a maximum amount of €20,000 to be distributed according to the following criteria: A) Operating expenses: A single amount, constant and equal for all associations that submit the application and meet the requirements. It will correspond to a percentage of the maximum amount allocated to this aid not exceeding 30% of it. B) Compensation for quota: intended to complement the quotas requested in each association, in three blocks: a. Fees equal to or less than €15 per year up to €450 b. Fees between €15.01 and €25 per year up to €250 c. Installments on 25.01 and €35 up to €150 d. Fees greater than €35.01 up to €100 C) Compensation by number of partners, in three blocks: a. Below 30% of members up to €300 b. Between 01.30 and 50% up to €200 c. More than 50.01% up to €100 D) Percentage of the center's Educational Compensation students: a. More than 30% up to €250 b. Between 29.99 and 5% up to €200 c. Below 4.99% up to €100 6.-PLACE AND DEADLINES FOR SUBMISSION OF THE APPLICATION Deadline for submission of applications: From the day following the publication of the extract of the Call in the Official Gazette of the Province of Valencia and for 10 business days. The application must be submitted electronically as established in art. 14 of Law 39/2015 LPAC.
