Official description of the call
In accordance with the provisions of articles 17.3.b and 20.8.a of Law 38/2003, of November 17, general on subsidies, the extract of the call for the public tender for the granting of aid in kind for the acquisition of books for minors registered in the province of Ourense is published, the full text of which can be consulted in the National Subsidies Database (http://www.pap.minhap.gob.es/bdnstrans/index): First. Beneficiaries: Those who meet the following requirements may be beneficiaries of this aid: 1. Born in 2007 onwards. 2. Be registered in a town hall in the province of Ourense on the date of publication of these bases in the Official Gazette of the Province. Second. Object: The object of these bases is the regulation of the granting of aid in kind for the acquisition of books, intended for minors registered in municipalities of the province of Ourense with the purpose of promoting reading habits and access to culture of this sector of the population. Third. Regulatory bases: Agreement of the Government Board of September 22, 2025, which establishes the regulatory bases and announces the call for aid in kind for the acquisition of books for minors registered in the province of Ourense. Room. Amount: The financing of the subsidies regulated in this call will be carried out under application 33420/22001, until the budget credit is exhausted. The maximum amount available for the granting of these subsidies is three hundred and fifty thousand euros (350,000.00 euros). Fifth. Application submission period: Book acquisitions will be made from October 15 to December 20, 2025. Textbooks and school supplies are expressly excluded from these bases. Nor will any type of magazine, periodical or similar publications be eligible for subsidies.
