Extract from the Order of Bases dated August 4, 2025 (BORM 192, of August 21, 2025) of the Ministry of the Environment, Universities, Research and Mar Menor, which approves the regulatory bases for the granting, under a competitive competition regime, of aid to Research Groups of Excellence in the Region of Murcia, included in the Regional Subprogram of Support for Scientific Research and Technique and Innovation of Excellence in the Region of Murcia (Regional Program for the Promotion of Scientific and Technical Research of Excellence) of the 2025 Action Plan of the Séneca Foundation-Science and Technology Agency of the Region of Murcia. Purpose: This call is regulated in accordance with the Basis Order dated August 4, 2025 (BORM 192, of August 21, 2025) and aims to consolidate and increase its scientific and technical capacity and competitiveness, the international impact of its research and its capacity to valorize and transfer results through the development of disruptive proposals and high scientific-technical value. Beneficiaries: 1. Researchers with a doctorate degree linked to the universities and research organizations, entities and institutions of the Region of Murcia indicated in this call may apply for the aid regulated in these bases. A.- Principal researcher. Doctors who, at the time of submission of the application and during the execution period of the project, have a statutory or contractual connection, with full dedication and full time with any of the aforementioned beneficiary entities, are in active service in said connection and meet the requirements established in the regulatory bases and in the call to lead the group may apply for these grants as main researchers of the proposal. Only in the case provided for in the Third Provision of the call will the inclusion of a second principal investigator be admitted, who must meet the same requirements indicated for the first principal investigator. B.- Research team. Researchers. Those who, at the time of formalizing the application, are in possession of a doctorate degree and have a statutory or contractual relationship in a situation of active service, at least for the entire duration of the project, with full dedication and full time, with the beneficiary organization or entity may appear with this condition. Postdoctoral hires will be included in the research team, even if they are not involved for the entire execution period. C.- Work team. Members of the work team. The rest of the team members who do not meet any of the requirements set out in the previous section must be included with this condition (technical research support staff, visiting researchers, researchers linked to universities and research centers outside the Region of Murcia, associate professors, professionals linked to companies, Technology Centers or Technological Innovation Support Centers and other entities other than universities and OPIS that provide effective collaboration in the project. They will also be included as members. of the project work team who are in the predoctoral training period under contracts financed by calls from public or private organizations and specifically intended for the completion of a doctoral thesis or under projects, contracts or agreements, provided that they have tasks assigned to them in the work plan and for the duration of said contractual relationship D.- External scientific collaborators (with a maximum of two. Those doctors with extensive research experience who belong to them may appear with this condition. to research centers other than the one to which the applicant is affiliated, national or foreign, and whose participation in the activity plan supposes, due to its character as a reference in the field of specialization of the research group, a real and significant contribution to the achievement of its objectives, an extreme that must be expressly justified in said plan. The participation of external scientific collaborators will not compensate for the lack of team members necessary for the development of the work plan and the fulfillment of the objectives.
